I replaced a different new chinese carb with this one and it was night and day difference. Starts right up and runs well now. That last new one was trash, sorry i dont know who the maker was of the old one a shop put it in nor do i know enough about why this one is better. But, i do know its working great so far.

I bought a 2006 xt225 that had been sitting for years. Everything was gummed up. I got the tank and carb cleaned but, the petcock wouldn't cooperate. I saw this for under 10 bucks and it was a no Brainer. It works great and comes with the gaskets necessary to insure that it doesn't leak.

Easy installation and worked great for the first year. Currently will not completely shut fuel off when on the off position so fuel line needs to be clamped when taking the tank off. Not sure if I can trust the reserve function now.

This item arrived on time and in perfect condition. It was well packaged. It is as close to an exact OEM replacement as you can get. At least for my 2007 Yamaha TW200 anyways. I'd order another if needed.

I used this to replace the vacuum petcock on my 01 Vulcan 800. It was a perfect fit and worked as expected. Just have to remember to turn off the gas as not to flood the carburetor when not in use.
