The Tiger Claw TC-G clip system is the fastest, easiest way to hide fasteners on grooved decking. It has been specifically designed to work in 5/4" decking boards. TC-G works in pre-grooved decking planks or non-grooved decking planks using TC-150 slot cutter. The TC-G is made of 304 grade stainless steel and is approved for use in saltwater applications and ACQ or chemically treated lumber for long-term performance. The clip's sharp prongs embed into the upper portion of the groove for strong holding power. The stainless steel screw ensures a lasting connection between decking board and joist. 90 Pack For fastening composite, PVC and wood decking boards Fits most 5/4" grooved decking Ultimate corrosion resistance ACQ approved Strong connection between decking and joists Requires no special tools Spacer tabs on the clip automatically gap the decking 3/16" for a consistent look Reduces wood splitting, wood rot and board cupping Use with Tiger Claw Pneumatic Installation Gun for fastest possible installation For a completely fastener-free surface, use with Cortex System for stairs, first, last and perimeter boards Available For Use In The Following Decking Types: Trex Select, EverGrain, ChoiceDek, Fiberon Horizons, Fiberon Pro-Tect, Fiberon Paramount, Wolf PVC, Wolf Island, Moisture Shield, Tuf-Deck, Veranda ArmorGuard, Brazilian redwood, Ip, Iron Wood, Mangaris, Purple Heart, Teak, Cambara, Meranti and most other pre-grooved or groove-able 5/4" or thicker decking.

These were a much better deal than at my local building supply store.

Description does not specify that these don't work.with Trex grooved boards. The actual bag they.come I. Does specify which decking they work with. Sonic you have trex don't buy these unless you plan to route the grooves yourself with their bit.

I used these as a TT Concealoc replacement to finish up my deck stairs. I did the entire deck in TT clips and I only needed another 40-50 clips to finish the stairs and didn't want to spend $150 on a larger box of TT clips. These clips did the job, but they were definitely different. I expected them to be different, so that was not a big deal for me, it save me about $100. They are looser and provide a slightly larger spacing between boards than the TT clips.I probably wouldn't recommend combining them with TT clips on any long straight deck runs, due to the different natural spacing between the clips. However, if you are using only these clips, or you have some smaller cut up areas(or stairs), these will definitely get the job done.

If you're building a composite, threaded deck, these are a must. They work only 1-way with an angle, but once you install them, they do not move. The finished product is beautiful with even spacing between the boards and no visible nails or screws on top.

These worked well with the Moisture Shield decking. Initially used them 4 years ago - still holding up well. Re-doing anotherdeck and using Tiger Claw Fasteners.

Installed Azek decking and used Tiger claw TC-G deck fasteners in addition to Concealoc hidden fasteners. I had to use the Tiger claw butt seam clips because my deck was 45 feet in length and didn't want to use the picture frame method. The TC-G deck fasteners and Tiger claw butt seam fasteners were ok but the Concealoc fasteners were a bit better designed. When you install the Concealoc fasteners they cinch down the board a bit more and when installing the next board the height was perfect for the next board. I found with the Tigerclaw fasteners sometimes I had to pry it up just an 1/8 of an inch or so to get the board in. Amazon does not sell the Consealoc fastener I bought from the local hardware store at $135 dollars a box which does approximately 100 square feet. If I had to do it again, I would use the Concealoc and use the Tiger claw butt seam and forgo the TC-G hidden deck fasteners. Just my opinion.
