Purchased Tool To Remove Brake Anchor Bushings. It Didn’t Work Well On Split / Segmented Brake Housing. Tool was strong enough to bend the brake housing. This might work good on a solid housing but definitely not on a split. Gave 1 star because tool was robust

Works great, was using the recommended 3/4 impact(Milwaukee) but the anchor pins were stubborn not doing anything, ended up using the 1 inch hoping the tool didn’t explode on me slowly was getting it of … tuff tool no damage and did the job without having to heat or hammer it out, saves a to. Of time

This press saved me so much my time and headache! As a professional mechanic needing to do brake jobs on semi trucks and trailers, this is a must have tool!

Had a 1993 lowboy and all of the anchor pins were rusted. The Tiger Tool with a 3/4 drive Milwaukee M18 made short work of all the pins. Would recommend to anyone doing a lot of brake jobs and running into rusted anchor pins.

and now i think i'm the second guy that actually changes the pins for the whole company. only seen 2 pieces of equipment where the pins had been recently changed, so someone else, probly the only guy that was doing them, had been there somewhat recently. that said...this tool is an absolute beast, i have no doubts in this tool whatsoever. the pins i'm dealing with are frozen solid with deep groves. i usually stall out my matco 2779 or makita xtw08, smack the webbing the sleves are pressed into till i get a nice bang from the pin and tool releasing pressure, then stall out my impact again and repeat till i can send it the rest of the way out. i think it would take a 3/4 or 1" gun to hurt this tool, but if she goes, she's gonna go big and take you with it! my only fear other than finding out what it will take to actually break this tool, is how easy it could be to lose the 2 adapter pieces. i don't know what the ring one is for and i'm too lazy to read instructions. the piece with the magnet is for the sleeves. the price is very painful, but once you have it in your hands you wont regret it... feels like 50# of finely ground forged unobtainium.

This tool is literally worth it's weight in gold. Match this with a 3/4" impact and you can remove both anchor pins and bushings in 5 minutes or less as you get used to using this tool. Just make sure you have a 3/4" drive 7/8" deep 6pt IMPACT socket. The only way this tool could be better is if there was a female 3/4" square drive directly cast into the tool rather than having to use a 7/8" socket.
