I am not one to write reviews but i felt compelled to do so as this products premature failure has very expensive consequences. I purchased this kit back in April 2023 and installed it shortly thereafter. This product failed prematurely. Preliminary findings appear to indicate that the tensioner experienced a catastrophic failure whether due to product poor quality/design flaw or a production anomaly. Leading to timing belt damage and worst of all possible ENGINE UPPER HEAD / LOWER DAMAGE. Either way, the manufacture needs to be made aware of this as their quality department should investigate the root cause.

2012 Chevy Sonic LT 1.8 broke a belt, purchased this kit and replaced everything, fit perfectly and runs like new again
