About this item

  • Made of natural 100% cotton with eco-friendly dyes on colored styles (natural color is undyed/unbleached), these undies are sweatshop-free and free from harmful chemicals.
  • Great for potty training and elimination communication, Tiny Undies have a single-layer with no padding...training pants feel a lot like diapers, so skip them and go straight to undies.
  • Low-rise, anatomically-correct fit for babies, young toddlers, and older toddlers who typically have a small upper thighs, small waist, and protruding belly; tag-free and itch-free.
  • Unisex design and colors make them reusable for multiple children (and solid colors make it easy to spot wetness); waistband and leg gussets are sized and soft, making them easy to pull up and down, and comfortable to wear all the time; see size chart in images for correct fit - these undies run small as compared to training pants, diapers, and other children's clothing.
  • Mama-owned small company in the USA, imported.

Tiny undies
Tiny Undies

When I did elimination communication (a fancy term for EC, or infant potty training) with my son, from birth, we faced a big problem when he was done with daytime diapers at 9 months old: no underwear fit him!

All the undies on the market sagged, drooped, and fell right off…the smallest available being 18 months (doubtful) and the next size up being 2T (Really? They’re for 3 year olds, people).

OK. So there are no underwear for a child less than 3 years old? Nope. None that I can afford, anyway. And certainly none that fit.

A few years after that, after having the same issue with my daughter at 13 months when we ditched diapers, I’d had enough. In 2014 I began designing the Tiny Undies you see today: cute, gender-neutral, with an anatomically-correct fit.

I surveyed over 1,000 of my fans to see what colors, sizes, and quality they were hoping for in Tiny Undies. Then, I decided to begin with 3 colors, a natural un-dyed version, and 4 sizes.

(It turns out that parents of 3 year olds in our community can’t even get underwear that fit their tiny bums! I never would have imagined the need for smaller underwear that fit well, were easy to pull on and off, and didn’t have gaudy prints all over them. Sweet!)

I found a remarkable manufacturing team: sweatshop-free, eco-conscious, super high quality, and very good at what they do. We went through a few rounds of design and sales officially began in February of 2015.

I’m so excited to be able to provide something that all parents can use with their tiny-bottomed kids: awesome small toddler and baby underwear!

Made of super-soft 100% OEKO-TEX 100 Certified cotton with friendly dyes on colored styles (natural color is undyed/unbleached), these undies are BCSI-Certified sweatshop-free and free from harmful chemicals.

The Undies are the Original sizing you’re used to, if you’ve purchased from us before. If you have a smaller baby than the “norm” these should be perfect…note that they are a full size smaller than our ROOMIER line + a full size smaller than mainstream baby clothing.

Awesome to free your boys from synthetic diapers that restric movements. But the most important thing is that their lower parts (you know what I mean) won't be exposed to chemicals or synthetic materials that unfortunately leach from diapers to their skin and can cause future infertility. If you want to have grandchildren, free your boys' parts from synthetic materials! Even if it is slowly. These 100% cotton undies are great! I am having my 9 month old wear them every day when we play outside, normally after he poops on a regular diaper. He can pee on these if we are outside, I just wash them later. My son doesn't complain when I put them on, very different reaction compared to when I put a regular disposable diaper on. I intend to gradually do the transition and have him in 100% cotton all day, not immediately, gradually with potty training. I am happy with this product. These undies are great, cute and makes me confident that I am not harming my son's reproductive system.

I hate that these are so expensive, but it’s worth it for my small child’s comfort. She is almost 25 lbs, and about 36 inches. She is very slim and she’s been potty trained for quite some time. She is 2 and 8 months and very active. All of the panties I have bought her have been baggy. I even got the Gerber ones in 18 months, their smallest size, and those are baggy too. If I’m still dealing with that now, imagine the stress when she was smaller than she is now. Sheesh. So, I bought these on a whim, hoping they would fit my tiny human, and, after a wash, they are perfect. I attached a photo comparing the washed shrunken size to the shipped size. I knew these were 100% cotton so I got them in 18 months. They fit my toddler perfectly. I will keep buying these until she can fit regular panties that aren’t so expensive, but just as good.

I ordered 6 months but they're too snug for my girl (she's 9 weeks old and 11.8 pounds). I put them on her for maybe 10 minutes and when I took them off to offer her the potty, there was a red mark starting to form. If you're trying to decide, I recommend sizing up!

While I ended up returning these unopened, it wasn't because of any fault of the seller. They look like they were true to size, and the colors were quite vibrant! The quality looked great too. I was just worried about my daughter having a hard time getting the underwear down by herself because the leg holes looked snug. (which can be a great thing if you are looking for a good fit!) The return policy was quite painless! If you are looking for a quality pair of undies that are true to size, these look like they fit the bill!

These fit my little girl perfectly! I'm considering buying more. And I might have started potty training at 16 months if I'd known these were available.Finding underwear smaller than 2T is a nightmare. My daughter is approximately 17 1/2 Ibs. She is in the 1% for size for her age and still hasn't shown much signs of growing quickly. Thank goodness she is meeting or excelling in the development mile stones.Anyway, we are potty training now. This week is bare bum. The book I'm reading recamends not using training pants at all. And not using underwear for the 1st couple of weeks because they're too close to diapers in feeling.I'm really glad I'll have normal underwear for her when we get to that stage.

Such a great set of underwear for kids. Bought several packs for potty training. They are soft, fit well and look like they are comfortable. The colors are bright and bold. It was hard to find unisex underwear that didn't have stereotypical gender prints and colors. Great packaging and they offer more prints on their website. Would likely buy more as my kiddo grows!

He’s are a very good quality and fit nicely, however I purchased the strawberry red and they were nowhere near Strawberry Red. It is more pink in color. The picture is comparing it to some red felt I had. I also compared it to a red shirt and was nowhere near the same color. I messaged the company and they did offer a return, however I was using them for a Halloween costume and don’t have enough time to replace.

We have now ordered 3 pairs of size 18 month tiny undies for my 21 month old son. He is slim, tall and with not much toosh. Based on some reviews I was nervous about ordering size 18 month vs 2t thinking they would be too small however, they fit well and still have room to be used for the next 6 months at least. I would definitely use the size chart to best guide you but also keeping in mind the growth and uniqueness of your own child. These undies have been amazing for potty learning, if you are on a potty journey I definitely reccomend getting Andrea's Tiny Potty Training book (or EC book for kiddos younger than 18 months) and the Tiny Potty board book. This company's products truly have been life changing and I'm glad I found it!
