I got this set to help me clean up a metal fence around my pool, to get it ready to repaint. With the variety of wire wheels it made quick work of taking off the rust and old paint. I welded in another gate and used the wire wheels to clean up my welds. I had no problems attaching the wheels to my angle grinder, they worked and ran great. So far they are holding up, but like any wire wheel they will shed wire, so make sure you wear proper PPE. Very happy with them. Good value for the money.

This kit has a good mix of shapes and wire size to address different needs. The coarse wire brushes are very heavy duty and would be ideal for rust removal on a wide area. The fine brushes are more like medium, they are still quite stiff. I would expect to pay $3-4 for one of these so 12 brushes at this price is a bargain. I can recommend these for any wire brushing need you have.

I used this to polish cast iron skillets for a friend. Worked great, but kind of single use which is what I expected for this awesome price
