This glue has a 2 year shelf life and the date code on the bottle is 11/23. The glue is already a year old!!! If I didn’t need it yesterday I would send it back now!!!!PSI just amended my review! My title said “2 years old” my mistake the bottle is 1 year old. However I would have still sent it back if I hadn’t needed it when I did. Sorry for mistake

Used this glueing up several layers of oak over a curved form board. Needed a lot of time to make adjustments. This glue gave me the time and set as strong as the regular titebond. A must have in the glue arsenal.

This is the glue that I use when assembling complex glue-ups during woodworking projects. It sets up more slowly than regular Titebond, allowing me extra time to get parts aligned and clamped before it sets up. As far as I tell it is just as strong as the regular glue once it dries. This glue is recommended for indoor projects where there is no need for moisture resistance. Titebond makes other glues that work well in moist or outdoor situations.

I've used Titebond glues for over 40 yrs. This was the first time I had used their extended time glue. No surprise, it performed better than I expected it to. Had an extremely complex glue-up, knew I would need more open time than my usual go-to, Titebond II. It states open time for the extended version is 15 min. It was more than 30 min. before I could get the last clamp on. The glue was still extremely viable - had not begun to set up at all. Long story short, had a successful glue-up, no problems at all! Sands extremely well, even more so that their Titebond II. Can't say enough good about this product!

Titebond Extend was used to glue a large dovetailed blanket chest together. It allowed me to have extra time to set the clamps. Normal drying time glue would not work as the joints would have locked before they were moved to the final classy looking tight dovetail position.
