This is the only glue to use if you have or make a piece of furniture that you really care about. If you use epoxy resin glue it will destroy the piece if you have to take it apart for repairs. But animal hide glue will release it's hold when heated up.

I got this to re-attach the bottom of the face on my 50-year-old Crown Acoustic guitar. I have since found that it is great for repairing a binding of my custom-made leather-bound sketch/thoughts Journal. I think I will replace my wood glue with this.

I had some detailed walnut that needed dremmel carving. I use this to tack to a holding background during carving. Then used a heat gun to loosen the glue. Did not break the fragile work.

Nothing to dislike at all. I have done my research and I have a friend who repairs guitars, so I knew that this was the right glue for this application. I am using it to repair some dining room teak chairs that have loose joints. I am not done yet, so I can't vouch for the adhesion and resistance to "creep".

Used this to glue a guitar neck to guitar body. Has held up great so far. No complaints

I have never had a joint fail, and squeeze-out is not a problem that shows up after finishing. The drying time is longer than all other Titebond glues, so overnight is my solution.

I really like this stuff! I watched my neck through strat fall forward and smack the ground, leaving a huge crack at the base of the headstock. The guitar had been in tune before the fall, but after it was super flat and sounded terrible. I immediately took the strings off and realized the crack was actually a major split.I put this glue in a syringe with a blunt needle and totally flooded the split, then clamped it and let it sit for three days. I then let it cure for a month (probably overkill) before I put strings on. I just played it for the first time a few nights ago and it sounds excellent and is still holding a solid tune. Definitely recommend this for instrument repair!
