Great quality, good vision, very light, the gel suppresses hits. One downside it covers all your chin so you can’t fully hide your face against your shoulder.

Awesome gear. I was using one of the old ones, the club supplied but this one was worth the investment. Much better impact absorption and the fit is very good. I'm 6'5", 280 and got the large one.

I've done Muay Thai for 2.5 years now. I first had no headgear then the classic style Title without the gel. It was better than getting hit with nothing on, but since I have a pair of the gel gloves (not for sparring, too heavy) and love how they absorb impact when hitting the bag I thought I'd splurge and get the gel headgear. Let me tell you, there is a noticeable difference! The gel version really does a good job of lessening the concussive force of a face punch. My go-to get up now consists of the Title Gel headgear, Ring to Cage cup, shock doctor mouthguard, Fairtex breathable 16 oz gloves and Fairtex shin guards. Have Twins gloves and shin guards but much prefer Fairtex. Haven't tried the Fairtex headgear but with this Title Gel one, I don't need to. Really a great product.

I am extremely displeased with this product. The headgear that arrived looks nothing like the product listed and does not meet any of the specs given on the page. For example:"All-leather build in full-face style with added chin protection" - there is NO chin protection on the model I received, only an unpadded leather strap that buckles closed;"Hook-and-loop rear closure with leather and elastic top make perfect custom adjustments" - the closure system on the model I received is lace-up.After looking up their products on the Title website, I am 99% certain that I in fact received this product: http://store.titleboxing.com/head-gear-with-cheeks.html in place of this product: http://store.titleboxing.com/title-gel-world-training-headgear-traditional.html. The one that I received is both significantly lower quality and much less expensive than the one that I paid for. Finally, the sizing on this product is not at all accurate. Since I have a large head, I specifically checked the sizing chart on their website which indicated that a large would work for me. The headgear that I received is far too small and will not even go onto my head with the laces 100% undone.I will be returning this product.

It fits very snug and takes some getting used to but it is worth the safety factor. Really absorbs the shots well and provides great security when sparring.

I use this for full contact boxing sparring. By full contact I mean it's supervised mostly sparring, and we're not out to knock the other person out, but get good 70% power in strikes.I started out with no headgear at all in sparring. Got knocked out for a good second on hook to the button.Plenty of hits to jaws, nose, ears, etc. I felt those hits pretty good. Then I got this headgear, since our gym started a headgear only policy if you wanted to spar.Well I have Title Gel gloves, so I thought I'd get this headgear, as I love the gloves. The headgear, now worn for one full session, really does lessen the blows quite a bit. You feel the hits sure enough. But your brain doesn't get quite as scrambled, your jaw quite as well knocked around, with this well protection headgear.I am pretty sure unless it's a real hard hit to the button, you're not going to experience a concussive knockout with this nice little piece of kit.It does slide around on my face as I get hit, but I take a split second to straighten it out once again.Highly recommended, I think it will save on brain injury.

I bought this for the obvious reason. So far so good. It absorbs punches well and stays on snugly. The mouth area is a little small, making it somewhat difficult to put your mouthguard in and out or to drink water during a break. It can use a better sweat absorption method. As it stands now it sends all sweat pouring into your eyes.I'm a big sweater, so I can only go a few rounds with this before I need to stop my eyes from stinging.Overall, a good buy for the price.

As a new boxer I was getting beat up from the old crappy headgear at my gym. I bought this on a recommendation from a friend and it has worked out really well. Awesome viability and protection (even from broken noses). Overall very comfortable to wear and doesn't move around. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good deal of protection as they learn the sport and/or do not want to look like a boxer at work the next day.
