Love the length of the spoon, as well as the sandblasted finish, feels nice to grip!

It wasn't until recently that I was watching a youtube video on camping gear where the presenter mentioned using a long spoon...I had been using a smaller sport (spoon on one side, fork on the other) and after seeing this I bought it and would highly recommend.

As stated, long handled with the spoon itself at a nice angle to the handle. Makes spooning food out of bags and deep containers very easy.

I have a half dozen of these spoons for camping and backpacking and they are great for eating out of the Mountain House backpacker meals. They are fairly strong and won't bend under the weight of mashed potatoes or chicken and dumplings like some of the other spoons will and the reach is fantastic. I even use them sometimes at home for stirring things in pots or turning vegetables in a pan. Very versatile and they're easy to clean.

TOAKS Titanium Long Handle Spoon: I bought this impressively light spoon because it easily reaches the bottom of Mountain House dehydrated food pouches without my hand touching the sticky insides; an issue when camping. Unexpectedly I've also found it especially useful for eating ice cream and yogurt at home. And the not-giant head keeps me from scarfing up food by limiting me to reasonable sized bites. I highly recommend this fun and functional spoon.

Great lightweight spoon especially nice for freezer bag cooking/eating and for eating meals from a "commercial" food pouch. Although I would highy recommend the version with the "polished" spoon tip because it just cleans up way easier and it is smoother, but this particular spoon is slightly lighter (if u counting measly grams) and it works just as well... its a spoon!!! Beware.. my original spoon tip bent off and is about to break because i had it stuffed in my food bag and compacted everything together and I guess the spoon got crushed the wrong way and folded the tip over. This happened after many years of use and many backpacking trips, and it I am able to still use it, but any trip now it will most likely break. I did buy a new one, and that is when I came across the "polished" spoon tip version, so I also picked that style up.. and it has become my new go to spoon!

I’ve got to say, this spoon is great! It’s not only feather light, the length is just about right for back packers pantry (2-person) camping food. Me and my son even tested it with our light weight camp stove while stirring/cooking some chilli. We both loved it, wish I had bought two but had picked up a titanium spork to test. Oh and forgot to mention, the spoon angle and depth is also great, made eating chilli fun!

What to say about a spoon? Sure, you can eat with it. Uh, and stir coffee with it. And, er...Actually, it looks like there's a lot of thought that's gone into this spoon. It's long enough to reach the bottom of a standard pre-made dehydrated backpacking meal pouch, so if you're not sharing a pouch (or if you're sharing a pouch with someone you love), it's pretty convenient, and you don't get curry on your knuckles. The other clever bit is the shape of the spoon bowl - it's kind of square, which makes it GREAT for scraping the last bits out of your bowl before you pour some water in to clean out the bowl and then "human sump" (drink the grey water to make sure you Leave No Trace). It's angled a bit more than most spoons - this is kind of a "meh" to me, as I've got to raise my hand way up above my head to get food into my maw. Or at least, used to until I took the 10 seconds to bend it to an angle that's more ergonomic for me. It's also got a great hole drilled in the end - tie a bit of 550 cord around it, and you can hang it around your neck while you wait for the meal to cook/rehydrate - no more searching for one's spoon when it's time to eat.

Absolutely perfect for campers who use cooking stoves and MREs. The long handle allows you to stir and eat your items from the deep package without having to put your hand in the bag, the way you have to using a regular spoon. It is great for using for cooking in pots over the fire. I have the Pathfinder canteen cooking set and the handle of the cup has a slit on the back side. I use the back end of the spoon to insert in to the slit and pull the cup off the fire and let it cool down to the touch. I don't know how I lived without this spoon before. I bought one for my son-in-law and LOVES it. He does a lot of backpacking in the mountains. The convenience of the long handle and the light weight is perfect for camping. Highly recommend.
