Wow, imagine putting something that keeps your beer can cold on your toes into ski boots! The smell was overwhelming. I even washed them to try and get the chemical smell out. Nada. I wore them for 2 runs down the mountain. My feet were absolutely numb (they did fit okay) and so cold. I’ve never had such pain. Had to go into lodge, take out and put on toe warmers. These are a return. Maybe I’ve got them for the wrong purpose. These do not mesh with ski boots! So painful, with the seams, the crampness, the lack of air to keep your toes warm. Do not waste your money. I wish the reviews were honest about skiing. These do not work for that purpose.

They look strange and I wasn't sure they'd fit in my shoes but they do. Didn't want to buy disposable chemical warmers - these are great!

Just got them. Tried them in my running shoes, but they made my feet hurt. I will try in some other shoes, and if they don't make my feet hurt, i will keep them. Otherwise I will return them

The quality is good and they work as expected for my cold plunge use. I would recommend

Works perfectly as long as you don't have sweaty feet. I get cold sweats so it is not good for me, but my mom does not and she loves these toe warmers when going to work where the heater is not very good. They retain her body heat exceptionally well

TOWOLF Neoprene toe warmers (ASIN : B0DHKQTL1D) With winter starting, my toes can get quite cold. I was hoping these would help my feet heat up faster. They were a little big to put directly on my feet - they would shift too much if I tried to walk in them. I tried them over socks, but while easier to walk in, after wearing for several hours, my toes still felt ice cold to the touch. They didn't have the cold ache I get sometimes, so the warmers were slightly successful, for that use. I then tried them when my toes were already warm, over socks, and inside slippers with a wide toe box. Much better results this time - my toes stayed nice and warm all day, indoor temps around 67F. The toe warmers fit well inside the slippers, so I could leave them in there, and slip my feet in and out easily. The next test was wearing them inside my sneakers to go outside. These toe warmer sleeves are pretty wide, and they bunched up in my shoes, around the toes. I wear a wide width shoe, Women's 10D, but these were just too wide to fit comfortably in sneakers. They did help keep my toes warm on a bitter Minnesota day, high in the mid teens, but I couldn't wear them very long. They just were too irritating against my toes, even when I wasn't walking. Last test was in my L.L.Bean duck boots, and they seemed to fit better in those boots - plenty of room for my thickest socks plus the toe warmers. They would probably also work in something like basic Crocs or moon boots, anything that has an extremely wide toe box.

When I first seen these I thought they were socks, that's what the picture shows. My fault for not reading further. They cover your toes and maybe half your foot which is what really gets cold. If you've ever seen those "water shoes", that's the material these are made of. They definitely do add a thick, extra layer between your shoes and socks. Out of the box they look too big to fit but slide easily over your sock and into your shoe. (I wear 9 1/2 shoe and I ordered the medium size). They ended up fitting perfectly. I have not worn them in very cold weather but I'm sure they will offer at least some insulation from the winter chill. Although i cant really comment on the insulating quality, yet, I can say that they seem to be well made with good materials and once you have them on, you really don't even notice that they're there.
