This toner cartridge does not work with my Brother DCP-L2640DW printer. The cartridge fits in the computer tray , but will not allow the printer cover to close properly. The printer will not operate without the cover closed. I found this out one week after the return date expired.

It works. But you can tell it is not oem. So far I have printed around 700 pages with it.a few pages have splotches on them.

Ok. I had no idea when I ordered this whether it was worth it or not but I have to say I'm impressed! Shipping was only 2 days. It arrived in the original packaging in excellent condition. I'm not technologically inclined but I had no problem switching out the old cartridge for the new cartridge. I did not get the "non Brother Toner" warning that some people mentioned in their reviews, so that wasn't an issue. My Brother printer recognized it immediately and display read "ready". I printed a couple test pages and can report that the print is clear and crisp with no smears. I will buy again!

I've tried several of the ones you can get through Amazon. We print alot for the ministry I work for. So far this is the best of the budget toners I've found because it's cheap and still has the chip. HOWEVER, many cartridges I've gotten do not work after half use. The company is helpful though... they sent me a free replacement set.
