I don't really know how to rate this. It's a serious tool and honestly scares me a little. My husband, on the other hand, thinks it's beyond cool and now wants to sous vide everything just so he can torch it. I think the flame is a bit much, especially if you want to sear more delicate desserts. I did try it in the back yard on weeds but the flame needs to be more targeted, I think. This is a big flame and a lot of heat. If you set it down it has to be in the provided holder or it will fall over.

This thing is perfect for lighting the grill, fire pit, etc.You’ll be the envy of the party with this amazing tool. The stand is good for cooling this down and displaying this piece.The self igniting feature is nice and the adjustable flame works well.This looks like it’s no joke and it isn’t. A serious torch for serious business. Not a toy!

No gas leak using my green Coleman propane gas tank. Easy instructions, easy tu use. It gets very hot, be careful to put it out of reach for children. Great little flamethrower.

While I liked the style and looks of this torch, it is not very easy to use. It's design is definitely for the aesthetics as using it is awkward and complicated. With a tank mounted the balance of the torch is not right and you have to fight to keep it aimed where you need the heat. The whole design of hanging th etank mounted low and far away from the tip seems like a mistake to me, as it made the whole torch very unstable. More of a gimmick for a tableside presentation than real word use.
