I recently received it and haven’t had a chance to use the whole kit yet, but these are nice tools for the price. The open barrel crimping pliers have performed very well for me so far

Haven’t used the kit I purchased yet but I had borrowed the weather pack crimper pliers off a coworker and they do a great crimp job. Better than the pair of blue point crimpers I have so I have no doubt this kit will yield the same results.

The tools are working just fine. The quality of the pliers is very good. I recommand this kit to anyone that want to make solid and good crimps. The tools to remove the terminals from the plastic connector are made solid. Comes in a nice plastic case

The Crimpers work really well. But don’t think you are taking a deutsch pin out of the connector with the removal tools. They DO NOT WORK. I have tried on many plugs and they havent worked once.

I have the kit sold by Caterpillar. This is better. The crimping tools are shorter, and you can use them in tighter places making them ideal for newer equipment and automotive applications. Good set, good value for the money.

Amazing kit for doing Deutsch connectors, and smaller splice connectors, doing larger ones you will want a ratcheting mechanism, but this is an amazing kit that is already paid for itself.

The crimpers for Deutsch barrel terminals work as well as our $300 crimpers. I carry this kit in a field service truck and have done about 500 crimps so far without having the crimp cut the wire.The release tools for terminals are too thick or to large in diameter and do not fit in most of the connectors we use. I have gone back to the plastic ones.The crimpers for weatherpak terminals work OK, but there are better ones out there, just not in a kit like this.

Great hand tool. Product works exactly like it should. Strip back 1/2” of wire, drop in a molex connector, stick in the stripped wire and squeeze. Perfect crimp. With this tool it is easier and faster to just cut off the original connections and then add new molex connectors....one at a time! When you do it that way you do not mix up the positions of the color coded wires.

So I have the Deutsch $300+ dollar connectors at home, but didn't want to bring them out in the field to lay in the dirt and elements while working on heavy equipment.And to add insult to injury I paid $300 dollars for a single pair of crimpers.
