10 out of 10. I've only used 2 sizes out of the kit so far, but if you're a mechanic or tinkerer these are a must have

Compared to the same Snap-On set they're just as good if not better. And they're not $400. Would recommend them to anyone.

There are zero instructions with this set. That said, if you’re installing or removing studs you probably don’t need them anyway. Two key things to know are the long piece with threads on the outside goes on first, threaded nose facing up. The cap with threads in the inside goes over that. Tighten the two VERY tightly. Now use the hex on the first piece to unscrew that stud from whatever it was in.Metric set works well for Toyota vehicles which use fine threads for nearly everything; it doesn’t come with coarse thread parts, so make sure you know what you need.

I’ve been using jam nuts for stud removal for 15 years. These are a huge time saver.Use the nut with set screw at the top for install, run the stud in and when it’s tight just loosen the set screw with provided Allen wrench. The other set work great even with limited threads available for extraction. Just thread on as much as you can tighten together and extract.Huge time saver, worth every penny!

I have almost exclusively Snap On tools including stud installers and extractors and these are faster and way less expensive.

I bought etorx sockets as suggested by the manual. Twisted the torx end right off the 30 year old water pump studs. This product was used to successfully remove and reinstall the studs. Yes, I probably should have installed new ones. It is a fancy version of a double nut solution, but it locked down well once properly tightened and helped me complete the water pump replacement. I wish it had included a box, but I imagine many folks will be placing the foam tray in a tool drawer.

It works just as advertised. Super convenient for a quick and painless stud removal. Everything should come in a foam case like this.

Nice kit, fast post and they work quite well. Havent put them to full use by trying to remove the most difficult studs but it looks promising.

Stud installer is great. I broke one of the extractors the first time I used it. I'm a professional automobile technician for over 20 years so I know what I'm doing. I kind of expected this for a tool at this price and will be replacing with Matco or Snap-on as they break.
