I bought these cause I needed another pair of gloves that could withstand high temperatures, but I also wanted to be able to bend my fingers & feel what I was touching. I wanted these gloves as a back up pair of welding gloves to my "Caimen" gloves [which is my favorite pair of welding gloves I've ever owned]. At 1st glance the looked pretty similar. Tried them welding & was able to use my fingers & could feel things well. The 1 thing I really noticed was the heat. I later used these with my metal forge & had 2 quickly remove them & grab my other gloves. These gloves have no insulation & can not handle the high heat. If ur just doing some welding here & there then these might work for u. If u want to be able to get close to hot steel & not melt or burn ur hands I would look elsewhere (like Caimen brand Evolutions)

Gloves provided good protection for the hands and arms. The leather is supple enough to let you still have dexterity with you fingers. I could pick up what I needed and work with it with the gloves on. And they are inexpensive.

Inner lining lil tight till broke in,I ordered a large should have ordered next size up but very good glove
