The connection to your seat rails is excellent with zero pack movement. Side opening is just ok as items will spill out. I also have the small version of the Topeak with the normal top opening and find that more practical.

I will be returning this product. I am very disappointed. 1) Where is the tool kit that is suppose to come with this?!?! as it says in the description" "BG1797 includes Topeak multi-Hex wrenches, 8x10mm brake wrenches, spoke wrenches, tire levers, chain tool with chain holder & glueless patches". There is no indication that this isn't the BG1797, and if it isn't why would this be included in this products decription. This is incredibly misleading. There are cheaper topeak sidekick wedge bags on amazon. I paid more for this one because it was suppose to include this tool kit. 2) I ride a cannondale road bike and have an upgrade selle royale seat. With this seat on right in the middle of the position options (forward to back) this quick clip cannot be installed because the bars of the clip are not wide enough to be hinged on. For it to fit my seat would have to be pushed all the way back, which isn't close to ideal and puts me too far back. Overall, while it might hold the essential for a long ride in addition to keys and a phone, I am very disappointed in this product as It it rendered useless to me.

Compact. Has everything I could need on the trails and room for anything else like a spare tube. This bag is very snug and doesn't move around when I am riding through a rough trail. It fits perfectly under my seat and I don't even know it's there until I need it.

This is a very well made , to quality product. Unfortunately it was not large enough to carry my large screen phone in, so I did not keep it ....... but I was gutted , because it really is a fantastic looking piece of cycle kit !! ... Gary B

The perfect size for a road bike seat bag. Not too big, not to small. Holds two tubes, 3 CO2 cartridges, patch kit, multi tool and even have a little room left. Very easy entrance into pouch from side. GREAT Product

Nice size. Side loading makes it easy to store tools, wallet, cell phone. Loop for light a plus. Visibility strip in the back a must.

I BOUGHT THIS BAG BECAUSE OF THE GREAT RATINGS SO MANY PEOPLE GAVE IT. HOWEVER THE BAG SITS CROOKED UNDER THE SEAT AND LOOKS LIKE ITS LOOSE BUT ITS NOT. I MOUNTED IT CORRECTLY BUT IT LEANS DOWN QUITE A BIT ON THE SIDE WITH THE OPENING ( I GUESS TO MAKE IT EASIER TO ACCESS ) AND ON THE BACK OF MY VERY NICE ROAD BIKE IT LOOKS BAD.THE OPENING IS GOOD AND THERE SEEMS TO BE PLENTY OF ROOM BUT WHEN YOUR SPORTING A FANCY BIKE YOU ALSO WANT THE LOOKS TO GO WITH IT SO FOR ME ITS LESS THAN ONE STAR BUT THAT SEEMS TO BE YOUR LOWEST RATING. SO IF LOOKS ARE IMPORTANT TO YOU THEN SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SKIP THIS SEAT BAG !!
