These sprinklers replaced some of my existing Toro pop up sprinklers. They are good sprinklers and they work well.

I've used rainbird, I've used Orbit, I've used Hunter... but Toro has always been the tightest, in terms of minimal excess flash/drip/rivulets, least hassle for upkeep, and longest lasting. With extremely hard water and 110 degree heat, toughness counts. I like that you can adjust the direction easily even after it's all set up, by twisting the riser. Expensive, but I think they're worth it.When they say they work with any other system -- you can replace any other similar type riser sprinkler and they'll all work -- but you cannot use most other nozzle heads on Toro, must use theirs -- that's a different review!Note to previous reviewer - if you read the info, it doesn't say side inlet anywhere. That's a flush plug. You assumed something incorrectly; don't fault the product for being what it says it is.
