Exactly what I was looking for. Installed this and the slow leak stopped. It is important to get Toto flapper if your toilet is Toto. Happy with this but price was a bit higher than if you can find at a supply store

Our 20+ year old Toto started leaking at the flapper valve. I replaced it with a “universal fit” Korky. It still had a trickle leak from the tank to the bowl. Cleaning the mating surfaces did not help. So I bit the bullet and got this more expensive OEM flapper. After installed it totally stopped the trickle leak. Sometimes it makes sense to pay more for the OEM product. Amazon shipping got it to me the next day.

I was dissapointed when I learned that the very good fitting, Thu112-1 flapperwas no longer made, but read that this flapper, the Thu257, is a replacement for it. So, I bought it, and it has shown itself a good replacement. It makes a good seal and so the toilet doesn't leak when it is used. Excellent!My only concern, and it is minor. I had to use a needle nose pliers to open the clip a bit to adjust which link of the chain is penetrated by the clip. Also, once I put the clip on the arm attached to the toilet handle, I couldn't remove the clip easily for further adjustment. Again, I had to use the needle nose pliers on the clip to adjust it. The clip on the Thu112 was more user friendly. The maker of the Thu257 could have made a more user friendly clip, but did not. That is my only complaint.

Generic flaps don’t always work in Toto. These work great.

Our Toto toilet was about 10 years old without any problems, except recently we could often hear a very faint sound of water running while sitting on the throne. This replacement part was easy to install, took about 5 minutes. We decided on a Toto brand replacement since the original worked so well for so long. After we removed the original flapper and looking at it we could see what looked like some corrosion and wear and it wasn't as smooth as the new one since it had been opening and closing against the bottom of the tank for 10 years. We hoping for 10 years of reliable service from the replacement part. Thank you Amazon.

I have a Toto toilet that is over 15 years old and the flapper just wore out, causing the toilet to draw water every 5 minutes or so. I went to the custom plumbing store in town that touts they have everything. Without listening to me or asking for the model number of my toilet, the man who helped me gave me a Toto flapper that is “universal” to most Toto toilets. Not mine. When it didn’t work, I got on line and figured out which one I needed. I took this information back to the custom plumbing store and gave them the information on the flapper I needed. The woman who helped me searched in the back of the store and looked in her computer and 20 minutes later told me I could use an aftermarket flapper or she could order the Toto flapper and it would arrive in 4 weeks. I said, no thanks. I can get it in two days with Prime. And that’s what I did. When it arrived, I installed it in less than a minute and my leaky toilet problem is solved - hopefully for another 15 years.
