This particular girth converter does not fit my aussie saddle. It does fit my Tucker one.

The buckles are not wide enough for the billet straps on any of the three Aussie saddles I tried. Also, the D ring hangs down so far that there is very little separation between it and the girth. I ended up buying another overgirth with a D ring at each end through strapworks.com

The product is well made and arrived quickly, HOWEVER the buckles are way too narrow and DO NOT fit the straps on a Down Under Australian Saddle. The product description states, "Converts billet straps on English and Australian style saddles to western Dee ring rigging". The seller should list the width of the buckle. Very frustrating!!!!

Works great for English saddles, does not fit Australian saddle which have 1 1/4 straps.

Super good quality, BUT... as mentioned briefly in other reviews, but I didn't quite catch it - the BUCKLES on these are sized for leather straps that are not as wide as a standard Aussie saddle. I'd say geared more towards an English size. These will not fit my Australian Stockmans Saddlery co. saddle. Wish they would - the quality is amazing for the price.
