With most every mfg. of denim jeans, I have a 33-34" waist. I purchased the XL to wear over jeans, there is no way this is possible with these pants. The pants are awesome and seem to be well made, time will tell. My only other complaint is the description stated a three-position knee pad pocket, this was not the case. I am going to keep and make them work. Overall, I am pleased with the pants.

The pants are high quality and comfortable. I found they run ever so slightly small. I normally wear 36/30 in my jeans and ordered appropriately. I had to return for next higher size as they were just a little too small and I worried about long-term comfort. But did order another pair as they look to be outstanding gear.UPDATE: Received my new, bigger sized pants this week. Went on a 300 mile ride with them and have ZERO complaints! Very comfortable, the air flow was very nice (80+ degrees today) and they feel very sturdy. Quite happy with my purchase.

the fit was spot on, the adjustable waist and cuff make for a custom fit. the mesh is breathable and seems to offer good protection. the included pads were a nice touch. zip in thermal liner is easy to insert and remove and its very packable. these pants are kind of heavy with the built in mesh inner liner and i was really looking for a summer(hot weather)pant and i dont need cooler weather wear... these are very well made, high quality a great "all in one" pant...

I really like the quality of the gear and functionality is on point. Very happy with the fit as well. I’m 5’11 190lbs and the large couldn’t fit any better. Ventilation is great and durability is as great as Klim brand is, if ya ask me.

Purchased the Ridgecrest Jacket and Ridgecrest Pants as first ADV bike suit. Good features and build quality, especially considering the price. Jacket and pants are a great set: both have an outer layer of heavy-duty nylon and mesh with built-in armor (hard and soft), inner waterproof-breathable layer that is easily removed and stored on-bike when not needed, lumbar area jacket-pant zip-together security, with pockets and adjustments everywhere my brain instinctively wants them to be. I was looking for an "initial ADV single jacket and pant set up" that would serve me year-round in North Carolina and region (on mostly highway with some gravel roads), allow for layering underneath in the cooler months, offer high breathability and air flow in the warmer months, and not break the bank. The Ridgecrest set checked all the boxes. The expanded sizing inseam length combinations of the pants was nice bonus feature--allowed me to really dial in the size while keeping the armor in the correct spots. There are more expensive jacket and pant combos out there, with great reviews and happy users, and maybe I'll eventually want or need to upgrade to one of those "lifetime build quality" sets, but for now, I couldn't be happier with the Ridgecrest set purchase--exactly what I needed, and I have more gas money in the wallet to convert into miles and smiles!

This is my 3rd pair of Tourmaster Riding Pants. The zipper to connect to your riding jacket is bass-ackwards. The pants have the wrong end sewn on them (the zipper pull side). Tourmaster gives you the other side, and I had a seamstress sew it on the pant. The leg zipper does not go all the way up the leg, and it's located on the back of the leg, both of which are cumbersome. The front zipper is way too short - must lower the pants to "pee".I'm 6-0", 34" inseam - leg length is great - pants stay over my boots when riding.Hip and knee armor is perfectly placed and comfortable.Liner is well designed and comfortable.Construction seems well done - seams and stitching is good and I think (hope) it will serve me well should I fall.Overall - good garmet and worth the money. I'll put up with the inconveniences for less than 1/2 the price of Kilm or Rev-it.
