The cruise control switch on my 2010 Tundra became inoperable when the button at the end of the switch suddenly became very firm. I initially purchased a made in China replacement part from one of the big name auto parts store and installed it myself. It did not work. I then purchased this OEM part (made in Japan) and after installation my cruise control worked again. This is a relatively easy DIY repair job with several good videos out there to assist.

I'm not a mechanic or any good with cars but I installed it myself on a 2008 Toyota Tacoma automatic. Do yourself a favor and look at Faye Hadley's YouTube video. It was the best I found very clear instructions.Decided to pay more and go with OEM part. Please note it does not come with the Toyota 84633-04020 Cruise Control Switch Wire that is required for installation. Check it out to see what it looks like.Some generic switches say they come with the required wire but it is the wrong wire, the above wire is the right one and it is kind of expensive. Haven't found any great deals on it $30 or more for the wire alone.You also need a T30 Torx screwdriver to unscrew the airbag.

Local dealer wanted over $400 to install, I bought the part for less than $90 on Amazon! It took less than 20 minutes to replace, I disconnected the battery, just 4 screws and 1 plug. There are several how to videos on youtube. It works just like new now.

This is a factory part, installation was smooth. Works as it should. Wouldn’t say “easy” job, R&R requires some steering component disassembly, but would be true of ANY replacement cruise stick.

Just installed into a 2012 Corolla. Works as expected. Something to note, if it is a new install you need to find screws, and the proper wires. This is just the switch and nothing else. If you are replacing a broken switch you should have no troubles.

It did fit perfect on my Toyota 4runner 2015. I did replace it myself in 10 minutes, very easy to install. All you need is to remove 2 small covers on each side of the steering wheel, remove 2 torx bolts to remove the steering wheel airbag/horn piece and unscrew and replace the cruise control switch.
