Great Frisbee! Hard plastic, throws and projects perfectly (if thrown properly)! Great for night play. We bought for us and our dog... he immediately but into the edge. It killed about 6 led lights, but the test is still bright as ever and works great. We just bought 3 more!

Listing shows it's good for dogs but our dog broke the lights in the first couple days playing with it. The lights made it super easy for her to see it at night but after catching it a couple times all the lights are out. The lights are around the edge so they aren't very protected.

I remember playing with LED flying discs when I was a bit younger and more agile. They were always a lot of fun. When I saw this on Amazon I had to get one. My nephew loves playing all kinds of sports so I tried it out with him. And of course, he is now the proud owner of it. Having used many flying discs in my day, including some that light up, I can make a few observations about this brand. First it has a nice heft to it, similar to other toys in this price range. Not like the super cheap ones you get at the dollar store that act like a paper plate when you try to toss them. This one flies well and is fun to throw, even for experienced users. The integrated electronics seem to be of adequate quality and durability. Nothing super high-end here, but they should last a while if you don't abuse things. The lights are fairly bright and may affect your "night vision" due to the high contrast. Looking slightly off to the side of the lights will help quite a bit when trying to catch it. Other brands I've used were either clear or semi-transparent plastic, allowing the lights to permeate the entire disc. This one is black opaque plastic, so all you see is the LED strip. This makes depth perception a bit more difficult. The battery compartment uses screws which is probably a good thing. Other brands just snap together and are very difficult to reassemble. Overall this seems like a good toy for playing catch at night. Active kids will certainly love it.

Gets a star for being surprisingly sturdy (no flimsy / easily broken plastic) and another star for being honest that it’s water RESISTANT (survived being left out a few nights and I think one or two rainfalls). But loses a star for not being waterproof, another for failing after only a couple months, and a third for not being recyclable (we really have to stop the throw-away culture!)

This feels heavier than a normal regulation frisbee, but it still flies true. The weight isn't super noticable, its more that the range feels shorter. However, it stays very very visible in the night sky. Great for dusk frisbee football games!

I used this for my TRON Halloween costume party it was a Hit! It may not have been the real disc but it still worked for what I needed. It stayed lit up the whole night which was what I as looking for I’m very satisfied with the outcome.

Before you go through the hassle of unscrewing the battery compartment, try turning the switch ON first -- mine already had the batteries installed correctly! This uses two non-rechargeable 3V "CR2016" batteries and you will need a small screwdriver (one like you use to fix eyeglasses) to open the battery compartment. This flying disc is nice and solid and measures 10.5" in diameter, so not quite 11" as is mentioned in the description. Also, the box states it is waterproof, although I would think it is water resistant rather than waterproof due to the location of the switch. This disc is made out of hard plastic with a rubber-like LED light strip that contains 49 LEDS.There is simply an on/off switch located on the bottom where the batteries are located. There is no timer function that I am aware of. If you forget to turn it off, it will stay on until the batteries are completely discharged and you will need to replace them. You get only the one-color lights that you order (Red, Blue, Green, or Purple). I chose blue. The lights do not change color or flash, which I think is a missed opportunity but certainly not a deal breaker. I also would have appreciated rechargeable batteries -- the kind you can recharge with a USB cable. I am wondering if this could be made in white rather than black. I do like the black but am wondering if this would light up better had it been made out of white plastic. This does have that super cool "Wow" factor with the 49 brilliant LED lights -- especially for some outdoor backyard nighttime fun with the kids or your friends! Overall . . . it's cool!

The color and overall appearance is pretty decent, but I can't say I expect it to last long. To start, the LED strip on the edge was loosely and unevenly pressed into the rim such that I had to fidget with it right out of the box. I really expected it to be embedded in a more protective, ideally glued or otherwise permanently embedded fashion. The battery compartment has a tiny switch you toggle to turn it on / off, which does not seem robust at all. I also imagine the "water resistant" is an exaggeration based upon theses construction related comments. At any rate, it's already seemingly no longer available, so that's probably not a great sign.
