This will make my pattern making so much easier. Nice transparency and less likely to tear like tissue paper. Can use the pattern over and over again without tearing.

Exactly what I needed, worth the wait for shipping. Great for making patterns. I'll be getting more of this for sure.

It cuts beautifully, easy to trace the pattern, need to have the pattern on a white table, easier to see. Once you put the pattern under the tracing paper, you almost do not need to pin it. Other than the fact it did not drape well, that was the only negative.

I use this to copy paper patterns which I use multiple times. This way the paper doesn't tear and the pattern is available to use again and again

Honestly, I have never used tracing paper before as I'm fairly new in the sewing world, but for as long as I have been sewing, I found that repeatedly using my patterns is wearing on them. So, I thought, why not, I'll give it a try. I traced my first pattern, and it was great!!! I used a black ink pen at first, then switched to a gel pen which worked even better. I'm sure a fine tip sharpie would be good as well. Neither of the pens smeared. The pattern was very visible through the tracing paper and even the small fine print showed through. It's soft, but durable and handled extremely well. It cut very good, and my scissors actually glided right through it (I have good sewing scissors). I then pinned it to my fabric and cut the fabric. I am very pleased with this and am sorry I waited so long to try it!! I can tell that I will get many uses from the one pattern that I did trace. I would highly recommend this product.

This is my second purchase of this product. It is amazing and can be used as a muslin copy of the original pattern. It is a strong, sturdy product, capable of cutting and slicing if you need to add width to a garment etc. I've also used to copy ready to wear tops. Previously, I've used parchment paper, wax paper, etc but nothing compares to the durability of this product! Having 29" x 30' is an excellent amount to duplicate many patterns and thus saving the original pattern for later use. If I lose or gain weight, I could make sizing changes on this tracing paper while still saving my original for future use. I love this product and will purchase again.

I wish I knew this existed years ago! This paper is transparent, yet amazingly very strong and pliable. It’s very easy to trace and transfer patterns. Now I’m able to purchase patterns and not have to commit to one size. No more wrestling with tissue paper, trying to get it to fold into the pattern envelope neatly. I’m very happy with this purchase. There is quite a bit of paper on the roll, so I do not anticipate needing any soon, but I’ll be sure to buy again when I do!

Juste assez rigide pour bien se travailler et assez souple pour être cousu pour effectuer les ajustements! À partir de maintenant: rien d'autre.

Swedish tracing paper is a great product to keep in your sewing arsenal, particularly if you draft your own patterns or make a lot of pattern alterations. It's not crisp or stiff like artist's tracing paper, it's more like sew-in interfacing, very soft and pliant. It's semi-sheer, so you can see through it to trace your patterns. It's also sturdy, so you can draw on it with a pen or pencil, cut patterns from it, pin them together, and even baste them, if you're so inclined, either by hand or machine. It's excellent for tracing your patterns before making alterations, so you keep your original pattern intact and make any changes to the traced copies. It's also good for copying your patterns, even if you don't need to make alterations. Normal tissue doesn't hold up to repeated use. Vintage patterns are especially fragile, so it's a good idea to trace them off using Swedish tracing paper. If you make your own patterns, it's great for that, too. I used to use Viva-brand paper towels for drafting my own patterns, but on a whim, I decided to give this stuff a try. Honestly, I've never looked back! It's sturdier, less likely to tear. It's much easier to draw on. It lasts a lot longer. And you don't have to tape a bunch of sheets together to get a large enough piece for an adult pattern. It comes on a wide roll, which lasts forever.I use a 2B (soft) mechanical pencil. It works a lot better than a regular (HB) pencil, gliding over the slight texture of the tracing paper with ease. When I used a regular pencil, it was too hard and wouldn't leave a dark enough line, and when I repeated the lines to make them dark enough, the pencil would tear right through the tracing paper, leaving jagged rips. I finally switched to 2B mechanical lead, which works beautifully. In short, I love this product! It works great for tracing or drafting patterns, so I'll give it five stars. Recommended to anyone and everyone who sews.
