Do not hesitate to buy this pan. I have a glass top electric stove and searched hard to find a replacement 10 inch fry pan for it . I did not want a heavy stainless one-have those already. Had to have a smooth bottom. Not have a super long handle that I couldn't manage. And not be so shallow that it would be useless for anything besides eggs. And nonstick. This is my work horse fry pan. So I purchased two fry pans from this company. They both were beautiful and it was a hard decision- but this one was the winner. It is all of the above plus beautiful. I questioned the lightly bumpy bottom. But no problem-eggs come off great, cleans up great. If anything, I think it will be extra durable compared to others. I've only had it a few weeks, but really works great. If I could make it perfect I'd do something so food doesn't stick to the handle screws. And I would make the sides go straighter down to give more inside space to the fry pan. But nothing is 100% perfect. This pan comes close. It is a bargain for the good price.I am very pleased.

I love my Tramontina pan. We use it almost every night. It’s non stick and large enough to cook a decent size meal in. It has a glass cover, so you can see what you’re cooking. It also cleans up so easily. Worth the money to me. Very well built.

Hope it holds up well, really like this pan. The 3 quart size should handle most of my pan cooking, sturdy and so far cleans up easy. Kind of different looking, but I like its looks. Liked it well enough to order a matching skillet, might get the 2 quart pan, too.

This is not a $200 pan. But it certainly delivers good quality at a reasonable price. The non-stick surface is great for cooking and cleaning. It is not quite as thick as some of their frying pans that I have purchased, but it is still good quality. I am happy with the purchase.

I have used this 8 inch Tramontina pan virtually every day for a year, and sometimes several times a day. Generally I use cooking oil and a non-metal spatula. After all this use, there appears to be absolutely no visible degradation or scratching of the interior surface. Also, the non-stick properties are still very good, essentially the same as new. However, there is one negative design issue. The handle attachment sticks above the edge of the pan, making it difficult of use a spatter screen, unless it is exactly the same diameter as the pan.

Gosh, I hated this pan, for which I paid $21.15 after tax. The rivets on the inside are NOT nonstick: they are little egg magnets. The rim is NOT nonstick: it also attracts stuck-on eggs. I bought the pan because it was a Wirecutter recommendation, and I treated it 100% properly: always silicon utensils, always hand-washed. I’ve had it 11 months and at least, after frequent use, I can at least say that it’s no worse than on Day 1. However, even if I soaked the pan in hot water immediately after use, egg still stuck to the rivets and rim, so I had to use the business end of a Scotch-brite to get them clean, which itself is not a proper way to treat the nonstick surface just around them. I just replaced it with the Greenpan Pro from Amazon and love it: its rivets and rim have nonstick surfaces, and it cleans up after scrambled eggs with the soft side of a sponge. So I’m off to write a glowing review for the Greenpan, and I’m going to use the Tramontina one last time to make Parmesan-rind “stock,” which is guaranteed to mess up any pan, even nonstick, and then I will enjoy tossing it into the trash, unwashed.

We were looking to replace our old Calphalon 8" non-stick that wasn't very non-sticky any more. I'd read some online reviews that touted the Tramontina pans and thought, why not? We'd tried several other popular brand non-stick pans and they all hadn't lasted very long in our kitchen. It's not like we abuse our pans either. We hand wash them and use silicon or wood utensils (never anything metal that would scratch the surface) when we cook with them. Bought this several months ago and since then, we've been very satisfied with how it's worked out. We're not gourmet chefs or anything, we use it to saute veggies and fry up eggs for breakfast and that's about it. The pan has remained nicely non-stick and we haven't noticed any degradation in the coating. We hand wash it and it's easy to clean with hot water, Dawn soap, and a sponge. When we first got the pan, noticed that the surface didn't appear to be smooth, it has a "bumpy" kind of coating on it, which seemed counter-intuitive to being non-stick. However it works and works well. I still recommend using some olive oil or veggie oil to help things from sticking, but that's just habit for the most part. It's a nice pan that sells for a reasonable price and it performs well. Recommended!
