Brand new in package opened it and its full of rust. I just spent 5 grand on rebuilding trans not trying to destroy it with this. Very disappointed.

I rebuilt my 4r100 transmission my self was and ordered this to replace the old cooler bypass. After installing trans and new cooler bypass, I noticed my trans temps would just keep climbing. Trans shifts great, no problems with the trans. I’ve been driving in this cooler bypass valve for 300miles and it just didn’t seem right that I’d hit 210 degrees just driving to work. So, I ordered a Sonnax rebuild kit for this bypass cooler. Well, the check ball was missing. Rebuilt it with the correct parts, drove it 35miles trans temp stayed around 160 degrees. Before rebuilding it and installing the missing parts, my trans would go to 210-220. WOULD NOT BUY!
