I bought his bases on my trucks symptoms and research results. The truck was stuck in a high gear and would not shift. At the time of purchase, this part had a 4.5 star review. My brother in law and I replaced these in about 2 and a half hours. Messy but simple job. Truck is now shifting as it should. Will update after some use.

I have a 06 Dodge Cummins mega cab that was stuck in first gear. I swapped this about a month ago and so far everything is still working good shifting like it's supposed to.

I change Filter, solenoids and spring and do band adjustments at or before 30-40k miles.. I would recommend this only if you do this regular maintenance, I would go with original Mopar parts if it needs to last longer... This is second time ordering this, the previous started intermediately failing almost exactly at the 40k mark.

So I ordered a replacement kit 2 years ago that never really fixed my issue with not shifting on the highway correctly. I ordered this kit to verify that the other kit had the incorrect solenoid (it did, and it was from EBay for the 2000 Grand Cherokee 42re). This kit had a slightly different looking solenoid than my previous kit. Needless to say, it runs flawlessly now and fixed an issue I've been having for years. I had my doubts about ordering this part from Amazon, but it worked out swell. I also recommend ordering the 5 quarts of ATF4 MOPAR fluid.
