Our r/c crazy 13 year old has been running and racing cars and trucks for about four years, and the Traxxas Bandit was his first higher-end remote control vehicle... and it has probably been his favorite.He has experimented with many combinations of axles, tires, pinions, and spur gears to boost torque or top-end, and his cars take a beating. If he is going to bash off-road then he will strengthen easier-to-break parts with aluminum replacements... but when he is going for high top-end speed road runs or smooth track racing, he puts on the lightweight plastic OEM parts like these shock towers.For the most part, these parts withstand the punishment they get under normal operation... but then there's nothing really normal about our fun & crazy son! So... we keep a toolbox full of replacement parts at the ready, and there are a few front and rear shock towers in there. As mentioned, the Bandit is the buggy that he runs the most and it is an A+ ride () for its price!The availability of replacement parts for the Bandit, like these shock towers, greatly exceeded our expectations. These Traxxas cars and parts have been, and continue to be, an outstanding learning experience for him and that has been a blast to watch evolve.If you need a shock tower like this, or even if you just want to have one (or two) as a spare in your tool box, you will not be sorry that you did.
