These are great. I installed on my Velineon swapped Stampede 4x4. Went from 11 tooth to 14, its a wheelie machine! Make sure the gear mesh is set properly so you dont tear up your spur gear. Check utube for videos using the "paper trick" to set gear mesh. Not too tight and def not too loose. Traxx has more info on setting gear mesh as well. Really easy to install and set up, some folks just toss it together without properly engaging the pinion gear to the spur gear. Easy, nothin to it. Also, go buy that clear inspection cover! Makes it easy to glance at your main drive gears to look for problems and dirt!

Used in a slash ultimate, the darn pinion shredded half of its teeth while I was just making a high speed pass down the street. The fragments of the teeth bound up the gear mesh so bad it bent my $ 90 brushless motor and ruined my $70 heavy duty center diff. I would absolutely not take a chance on this gear again.
