Designed for intense high-power applications, these shafts are built to withstand the brutal torque from the 540XL motor and the massive grip of huge Sledgehammer tires. A unique splined telescoping design delivers full-range articulation, so there is never a need to limit suspension travel. They are made by Traxxas, for Traxxas so you can always count on easy installation and the perfect fit. Axle carriers are for use with the 9080-series upgrade kit only and will not fit standard suspension parts.

Nicely made units but these require the use of a smaller 6x12 inside bearing vs the 12x18 bearing the extreme duty kit uses. That takes away one of the big benefits of the extreme duty kit. They really appear to be designed to fit multiple cars/trucks. I say that because there is a race on these in the location where the proper 12x18 bearing would be but it measures larger than 12mm. Traxxas has you remove the larger 12x18 bearings and replace them with a 2nd 6x12 bearing inside the extreme duty carriers. The only place its mentioned by Traxxas is on the installation instructions located on the items support page of the Traxxas website. Nice units but if I had known this prior to purchase, I would not have went with these.
