One pole locks well and the other doesn't lock at all so one section comes apart when ever you lift it with your step.

The sticks make a very good impression. I haven't tried them in the field yet, but I think their excellent build quality will help me get through the upcoming trip and the slightly further trek, with success. The operation of the sticks is not intuitive. This is the first time I have had sticks like this and I tried to operate them without reading the instructions, but the instructions included are very clear and the operation of opening the sticks is very easy and simple.

I am disappointed in these poles, as I find them hard to assemble. I wanted to use them for travel, so they need to collapse and fit in a suitcase. The problem is that I am just not quite strong enough to yank the pole hard enough to release the prong to hold the parts together. This is unfortunate, as they look to be sturdy and a good quality.

I bought these to join a local Nordic Walking Group. Instead I got to give them a good trial in the recent spell of very wintry weather on ungritted, ice packed and slippery pavements and paths in N Yorks! The poles can be adjusted for height, are light to use but sturdy enough to feel supported. I found a useful You Tube video to support the sketchy leaflet in the box. The poles collapse into three sections to carry or store away in a drawstring bag included in the package. A reasonably priced product that works for me,
