This is a well-made eye wash station faucet add-on. The material is solid and has the quality feel and look. There are a few adapters to fit your faucet. The nozzles are 360 and can be rotated.t's good to have this in the house. you never know when you might need it. I have it attached to the bathroom sink and my daughters also use this as their face wash, since you can rotate the nozzles.

The TrelaCo Eye Wash Station, boasting a 2-in-1 design, claims to combine the normal functionality of a faucet with an emergency eye washing feature. Let's dissect the manufacturer's assertions and evaluate the practicality and efficiency of this eye wash kit:This is a device I’d never thought about buying before, but in retrospect would’ve been very useful for my family so many times over the years.I remember when I was much younger some of our high school science labs had emergency eye-wash stations, so I’d always associated this type of device with chemistry experiments and dangerous work environments, and hadn’t thought about the everyday value of having this available at home.Think of the last time you were, say, cooking some spicy food and accidentally rubbed your eyes after touching a pepper. Or got dust or allergens in your eyes after cleaning a dusty room, mowing the lawn, or doing some woodworking or drilling. Or your kids got into some sort of mess that left them with dirty or itchy eyes. Or maybe you got an eyelash stuck in your eye. Etc etc…Rather than just clumsily trying to splash water up into your face with your hands, or dunking your face in a sink or under a shower, soaking wash cloths, etc. — with this eyewash station you can quickly and gently flush your eyes with a ton of water, cleaning out any problems. And, worst-case scenario — and hopefully this never happens — but if someone at your house were to get a dangerous chemical or cleaning agent in their eyes, then having this available might be crucial while awaiting proper medical attention.Anyway, I’ve installed this in our basement washroom sink — that’s a very deep wash basin, there was plenty of room to attach it to the faucet without interfering with the functionality of the sink… This device is actually really nicely compact for what it is, so you shouldn’t need a super-deep sink — but it also won’t work very well in a shallow sink, especially if your faucet is already close to the sink basin, since it does add a few inches to the end of your faucet.Installation turned out to be exceptionally easy in my case — I just unscrewed the old aerator from my faucet (I should do that more often with all of my faucets — there were grains of dirt in the old filter and the old washer was decomposing and gunky!)… Gave the old faucet a quick clean, and screwed on the eyewash station (including one of the new washers that helpfully came in this pack. All up, it only took a few minutes, and I didn’t even have to use any of the provided adapters.Overall the design seems fairly simple and durabile, using seemingly nice metal components and promising long-lasting service with minimal maintenance. How well this eye flush kit stands up to regular use (or infrequent use) and the wear and tear remains to be seen — but so far it works great, so hopefully it’s still in good nick for any future emergency situations (knock on wood we have no such emergencies though). The package includes the faucet-mounted eye wash station itself, an inspection tag (not relevant for home-use, but maybe handy for businesses), an eye wash station sign (again, this makes more sense e for business than home-use — but I thought it was funny/useful enough that I slapped the sticker up on our basement wall above the sink anyway), 3 metal adapters, and 3 leak-proof gaskets/washers.The metal filters/aerators are built in. And the rotatable nozzles allow for easy vertical and horizontal angling of the spray. My one negative I’ll ding this device with is that the two eye-wash nozzles are spread a bit too far apart and don’t have an option for diagonal angling of the spray or changing the width between the nozzles …What I mean is that even with my big goofy head I can only fully wash one eye at a time with this thing because the nozzles are spread so far apart — I have to keep moving my head back and forth a bit to alternate between which of my eyes is getting a full spray between the two nozzles. And when my kids tested this out, with their smaller heads, they were having it move their heads even more (and as they went back and forth then the side that wasn’t spraying one of their eyes would instead spray the side of their temple or ear or beyond)…That’s not a deal-breaker since this device still makes it very easy to rinse one eye, and much easier to rinse out both eyes with some simple head movements… Compared to trying to splash water in your eyes from a traditional faucet, this is a game changer…But if an upgrade is due in the future, I’d strongly recommend adding some sort of diagonal aiming option (so you could point the nozzles inwards slightly to fully hit both eyes at once and adjust for different head sizes) or an on-the-fly width-adjustment option of some sort.Anyhow, as Jimmy Cliff sings, “I Can See Clearly Now”!
