This is the first stabilizer I have ever used but I have been archery hunting for 7 years now so I know my way around a bow. It halved the noise produced when shooting and the vibration was also dampened quite a bit. However the biggest difference I noticed was in the balance of my bow. I had no idea this would improve my balance so much! I am shooting much tighter groups now. I have not yet hunted with it but I have well over 500 practice shots with it and it is holding up great. It’s lightweight an it doesn’t add that much to the profile of the bow. A tip I would suggest is measuring beforehand to make sure with this stabilizer attached your bow will still fit into your current case.

Upon unboxing, I could tell trophy ridge makes quality products. Nothing about it feels cheap. Also could feel that the weight was at the end of the stabilizer which is what I wanted. Put it on my bow, and could tell a noticeable difference right away. I have a lighter carbon bow, so I wanted something that would help the bow fall forward in hand better after my shots. This stabilizer achieved this a lot better than the stock 6" octane that came with my bow. Also, the holes do help in windy conditions. Felt like I could hold on target pretty well with the wind blowing pretty good. Also has weight adjustment. Looks pretty dang cool to.

This is just a first impressions review and i will update it after i get a chance to shoot it a couple times. As far as out of the box impression, it seems very sturdy on my Martin Saber. I was also pleasantly surprised that the stabilizer cam with a wrist sling as well. As far as craftmanship goes, I would definitely recommend this stabilizer. Again i will update this review after I get to shoot with it on my bow.

I purchased the 12" for my compound bow, which previously just had a stock, stubby stabilizer that seems to come with all entry-level compound bows (I have a Predator Raptor).I weighed both the 1 oz removable weights that came with the stabilizer and they came in at 0.987 oz and 0.983 oz, so roughly 7/8 oz each.To give you an idea of my archery skill level, I took up archery as a new hobby in 2017 while I was extremely bored because I was on chemo and too fatigued to do much other than sit around my apartment. So I invented a game called "Kitchen Archery", where I shoot from the kitchen, through the doorway to the dining room where I have a target set up. The first time I've been to a range was a just a couple of months ago (in 2019). I've never taken a lesson so I'm completely self-taught.I found that I did best with one of the (almost) 1 oz weights removed. The attached image shows my Kitchen Archery grouping at a distance of 25 ft using the stabilizer. I have never achieved as tight a grouping with my stock, stubby stabilizer.

Quiet, compact and very effective. Stays put and does not vibrate loose. If you sling you bow across your back it can dig in so if I am hiking miles I will remove it - put it in my pocket and screw it back when I am ready to hunt.Great product and the best stabilizer I have ever owned.

At first I didn't like design, I bought this because it was cheap and had much better reviews than others out there. After seeing it on my bow I actually think it looks awesome. When I draw my bow I don't really feel a difference in its effect. Maybe I'm too new to notice the small things that make a big difference. Some people say they feel the difference upon firing with reduced vibration, quieter shots, etc. I don't really notice all of that, but I do notice that my groupings are tighter. That is all the matters to me.

I shot my PSE Surge with no stabilizer before installation. There was a noticeable difference in vibration. Far less than with no stabilizer. It even feels like a very high quality stabilizer. Much better than the one on my other bow. And it does offer some good balance to help you tighten up those shot groups. I can't say that it was all because of this stabilizer, but I'm shooting tighter groups on my PSE bow. Overall, it's a great stabilizer at a great price! You can't go wrong with this.Update. After testing this stabilizer for a few months, I found my 50 yard shots were very inconsistent. I found that the 6 inch model doesn't offer as much stabilization as longer models. I had two of the six inch models and found that you can take the weights off the end and screw in another stabilizer to get more length. So I put my two 6 inch stabilizers together to make a 12 inch stabilizer. What a difference that made! Also very cost effective considering the price of the 6 inch model. But now, a 50 yard shot is just as tight as my 30 yard. I believe the 12 inch model was just released. But way more expensive than two 6 inch models.

I bought this stab to use on my 2013 Bear Motive 6. I actually like it quite a bit. It looks cool, and the end unscrews so that you can add or subtract weight easily. At one point I had 4 1oz weights on it. I started with all the weights I could fit on it, then removed them one by one as I tuned the stabilizer to my bow. The finish is nice and everything fits together perfectly. It also does a decent job of reducing vibration. Even though my bow doesn't produce much, I can tell the difference if I take the stab off and shoot it. In retrospect, I would have bought the shorter version. My bow doesn't need as much stabilization as I thought. I am currently only using one weight on the stab.
