Wasn't expecting much from these small "bass traps": they're small, lightweight foam. Mostly I wanted something to cover the vertical corners of my vocal booth and these did this perfectly. Turns out they do have a slight positive effect on reducing bouncing mids and highs, and do help tighten up the sound. And they look cool. The included instructions for unpacking them is a little sparse, and even after 48 hours of sitting quietly in a "well ventilated" area, they were still not fully expanded. I decided to rinse them in warm water and carefully wring them out. 24 hours later they were all perfect. So, there you have it.These won't help with deep booming bass, but they might help with mids and highs if you're using these in a small vocal booth or closet.Recommended with the above caveats.

Hard to say if these do anything other than look like you forgot to throw away packing material.

Tried using double sided tape and an still trying to master getting them lined up to look the best. They were packed super compact and I was surprised that they puffed up perfectly.

For the price it gets the job done. I’m glad I went with a 4 inch though as opposed to 3 inch and this phone has a at least a design that’s not just pyramids or triangles. Doesn’t absorb a ton of sound. 3m doesn’t stick to it we had to super glue pieces of paper plates to the back and then let the 3m strips stick to that.

If your intention is to use this product as corner-wall-ceiling bass trap, I would not recommend this product as it does not measure out to 8 inches. For the advertised product (i.e. Periodic bass trap), I guess this does the general job when placed between just a location between wall and ceiling, or a corner of just two walls meeting together. For corner traps, I highly recommend the 12"x12"x8" bass traps and use these where needed between two-points only. I have made an investment in this material and several other products that will work in concert. I have roughly a 600 SqFt sound recording studio I am preparing and chose this product for the main area to stop sound and frequency from bouncing off the wood-panel walls. I plan to use these traps in several locations. Another issue I have with the product is about 20% of the tiles that I ordered in packs of 12, are not all decompressing and take a lot of work to form into their final shape. Several tiles never have fully decompressed, no matter what I do (i.e. submerging in water, blow dryer, etc.). It almost appears if several of the tiles were smashed when compressed into their packaging. I am not a fan of submerging the product into water. If any water remains in the material air pockets, over time mildew will form and would be accompanied by smell. I have tried the water submersion and dryer technique, but caution anyone considering this approach and to not use high or mid heat, if using a clothes dryer.

Son esponjas suaves de mala calidad en material y corte, además al venir al vacío se deforman y al expandirlas (qué me llevó días) ya no regresan a su forma original, por lo que termine con algunas piezas sin usar y otras que use pero se nota qué están chuecas.

These do what they’re intended to do. I haven’t used a noise meter, but they work to keep bass out of the corners. As with all foam, the only struggle is finding a glue that will keep these permanently adhered. I’ve tried 3M and Gorilla Glue spray glue and neither indefinitely holds. No fault of these guys - just the nature of it.
