A little louder than expected. Replaced with quieter muffler from Walker. Great muffler but too loud for my taste. Installed on a 98 Jeep TJ 2.5 motor

This kit is great for the price and fit well. The only downside is there should be an option to select what kind of muffler you can get with the kit. The chambered super 44 sounds ok at idle but at higher RPMs it sounds like someone flooring their straight pipe Honda at 3 A.M… I swapped the super 44 out for the Flow FX muffler which has a straight through perforated tubing which does not restrict flow and provides a proper, deep tone throughout the RPM Range.

Jeep starts out with an inch and a half pipe and just before the muffler they cut it down to inch and a quarter. Will this kit you can take it out inch and a half all the way to the end. It was no restrictions in the Flowmaster muffler, you have increase horsepower and gas mileage. Note: I did add an exhaust tip to give it a more throaty sound!

Small adjustment to fit properly. Had to cut the exhaust pipe. Worked out perfectly. Instructions were confusing but I figured it out. The pipe should be marked front/rear for easier install.
