The bowls are super sturdy, beautiful and hold up well. We are taking out all the plastic in our kitchen and these are a fabulous choice.

Very nice! These are perfect, nice and sturdy and I’m not worried about them breaking should I need to use a hand mixer in one. I will be purchasing silicone tipped beaters for the mixer to avoid leaving dark scratches in the bowls though.

I've had cheap plastic mixing bowls for pretty much my entire life because I didn't want to spend the high price on good bowls. But mine were at the point they needed to be replaced; I wanted something that was safe in the microwave and also in the dishwasher, which is pretty impossible with most plastic bowls. I found this set and the price was much higher than the plastic sets I was previously looking at, but seemed like a decent price compared to similar sets of the same quality/material, so decided to just bite the bullet and spend the money. I'm glad I did! This is a really nice set - sturdy and solid but not SUPER heavy, while still being heavy enough that they don't slide all over the counter while being used. Clean up great in the dishwasher and no issues in the microwave. I wanted a set with lids initially but realized with this set, on the rare occasion I needed to cover one, I could just use plastic wrap since it would cling to this material properly - unlike plastic bowls - so now the lack of lids doesn't bother me at all. And I'm quite certain that these will last an extremely long time. Very happy with them.

They seem to be heavy duty and sturdy. The depth is nice for using your beater. I like the varying colors.

I bought these to replace an old multicolored set and they are just lovely! Very old world style yet I can see them as working well in a modern kitchen as well. Very heavy and well made . I would have given 5 stars if there were 5 bowls as my previous set. I feel like there’s a jump between the largest and second largest but 4 seems to be working just fine.

I received this beautiful set and had the same problem as others who have purchased these bowls. They are beautiful but the middle two arrived broken. I contacted the seller through Amazon and asked if I could just have the two broken bowls replaced. I was happily surprised when they responded immediately and shipped two replacement bowls that I received a few days later. With a little communication and a touch more patience, you can have the full set too should you receive any broken ones!They are pretty heavy but sturdy however I'm going to be careful until I know if they will chip or not! They should be great for baking and the sizes they come in are super useful!
