Awesome tape. Really holds the tire in place and was a BREEZE. If you're using glue and don't enjoy doing the work and spending the time and money on carbon or aluminum specific cement and all the mess - just get this tub tape. HUGE time saver and hassle free. If the object is to simply keep the tub from coming off the rim under any and all conditions - this gest the job done. So why do anything else?

Restored an old colnago bike and am so glad I used tape instead of the three day gluing process! Impressed at how easily the top backing came off to hold the tire in place.

Does what it’s supposed to. It’s a little thick. Definitely easier to mount a tire straight vs glue but, getting the tire on the rim was difficult because the tape doesn’t stick to the tire the whole way around until you peel the backing. No comparison though. The glue is much better and way less expensive! This is enough for one wheel? Really the benefits of glue are that you can mount and remount tires with just a fresh layer of glue once or twice before you have to strip! This stuff will be one use only and need two boxes to fix two tires to rims! Buy CX brand a whole roll for 10 wheels is $25. And it is better at bonding IMHO.But I prefer glue!

Had to re-install tubular tire after rebuild of front hub. I carefully cleaned the wheel with spray cleaner and goo gone, then wiped away the goo gone with more cleaner. Then carefully applied the tape, and pressed on the tire. Be sure to deflate the tire and follow the instructions inside the box. After inflation, there was a slight bulge in the tire. After deflation, and repositioning the wheel in the center, then reinflation, it was better, but still a bulge. In about 4 to 5 days the bulge went away and was left with a perfectly smooth tire. So be patient. Did I say follow the instructions inside the box?
