I think this is a great value. It's even got the directions for playing the game imprinted on the back of the board. It comes with a little drawstring bag that holds the dice and two folding cups for rolling the dice. The game calls for six dice and then there are two extra dice as replacements if any are lost. It also includes a dry erase pen with an eraser on the end to keep score on the dry erase area on one end of the board. It's just a really fun game and the items needed are all in one place so there's nothing to easily lose or misplace. The items are all good quality and the size is compact but not tiny. There are years of fun in this set and it will last a very long time.

I got this for something different to play with the family. It has a nice wood play area that has the rules on the back, and a scoring guide and score pad on the front on either side of the bowl for rolling the dice in. It comes with two rubber collapsible cups and eight dice - six for play and two spares - and a marking pen with an eraser attached to the cap. It's a fairly simple game to learn, suitable for kids and adults. Everything is well made and appears to be durable. The only flaw I could see was some air bubbles trapped under the score pad decal.Overall, a fun game to play with friends or family.

I like the concept of this. However, I likely will be donating it. It is quite large and does not fold up. There’s not a great way to keep the pieces together or the pen. The one that I got has some very thin whiteboard glued on the side for the Scores and it was not glued straight. There were lots of wrinkles and bumps in it. You can pull it up and straighten it, but there are still wrinkles and it doesn’t stick quite as well. I think there’s a good idea here but execution is lucky.

A solid game to have in your arsenal for any occasion. Fun for the whole family and just as easy to learn as Yatzee. Most certainly would recommend this buy. I love having the rules and matches right on the board for you to keep referencing. And I appreciate that everything is easy to put away with it having a collapsible cup.

This farkle game has a large wooden game board with the points clearly displayed on the left side and a white board to keep track of your score on the right side. You receive the board, two silicone dice cups, eight dice, a linen drawstring pouch and a dry erase marker. The board is made from a high quality wood and it is very nice that the points are clearly printed in bold black so very easy to read. The board is large and although it is shipped nicely the cardboard box that it is housed in will not last for a long time. Wish it had came with a nice game box to keep it in. The game is very easy to learn and fun to play. In my opinion any age can play if someone is willing to help with the points but is best if they are able to count and add themselves. This is a very good quality game and will make a nice addition to family game night.

The game set came in an unmarked keyboard size cardboard box. Until I opened it, I didn't know that it was the Farkle game I ordered. So, to say the least, packaging is not a strong suit of this product, because I can't be sure how long that cheap cardboard box will last...or is it even meant to be stored in that...but then the burlap bag it comes with is too small to hold the board. (Just confusing on how we're supposed to store this kinda/sorta/semi-portable game.)Getting to the actual pieces of the game, the board is good solid wood. I like that the erasable scoreboard is on one side and then the scoring guide is on another. However, the only game instructions provided are on the back of the board. For first time players, this is difficult as they would need to flip it back and forth to figure out how to play. It's best to just take a picture with your phone to avoid having to do that. But how hard would it have been to just print the game instructions?The set comes with an erasable marker, 7 dice, and 2 collapsible cups to shake the dice, and a small burlap type baggie to put all the pieces (except the board) in. The collapsible cups are weird; they are like little travel cups. I think it’s meant to make the game more portable, but the problem is that the board is huge! If the scoring guide and scoreboard could have hinges that allow it to fold in the middle, that would make more sense in terms of portability.Overall, everything the game comes with is functional (and Farkle is a fun game that is sort of like Yahtzee that encourages more risk-taking!), but the design and packaging of the board could be enhanced for a better user experience.

I originally got this to use with some other dice games we have when we are unable to sit at the table. I wanted to pass it back and forth. Then we saw the rules of Farkle and it is in our line up of dice games which the family tends to like.BOARDThe board is a good size- not too big or small. It is easily passed around and has the rulls on the board itself so you don't have to find a booklet when you want to refer to them. The score sticker on the size is nice, but we will usually use paper anyway- we are in the habit of that. Regardless the wipe off marker is included if we want to.PIECESThe pieces are storable in the pouch. There are two collapsible cups and dice (which replacements if needed) and they all fit in the pouch,STORAGEI am not sure how long that the box it came in will last for storage, but I have a large clear bag with a zipper top that is meant for storage that we are keeping this in along with the pouch and cups. I just stuck a nice foam piece in there for support and protection of the instructions.THE BOTTOM LINEThis is a fun game to play that is decent quality. We love having the board and will play it often.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. Farkle is now in our line up of games to play. I like this board and am glad we got it. The price is decent and we are glad we got it.
