Added to my Epiphone SG Special, great improvement to the standard tuners. Did have to drill out larger mounting holes.

Put these on a Epiphone SG Special.Had to ream out the headstock, but a huge improvement over the stock pot metal tuners that were on it.

Product is well made and well packaged. Perfect fit replacement for Gibson Deluxe vintage machine heads. Definite improvement upgrade for achieving and maintaining accurate tuning.

I replaced the stock tuners on an Epiphone Les Paul Special I. These tuning pegs require a wider hole than the stock tuning pegs, but it was very simple to use a handle reamer to increase the size of the peg hole. This is the reamer I used - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004T82J/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. You will also need to drill new screw holes, but that was easy to do, as well.These tuning pegs work much better than the stock ones and I am glad I did this upgrade.

These tuners are great, I highly recommend them. Very smooth, hold tune well, made in Japan, they actually look vintage and not like cheap recreations...What’s not to love? Just note that the pole height is relatively short for some guitars, just make sure you do your research when fitting them to your guitar.

I installed these on a PRS SE Zack Myers guitar. They were a direct drop in replacement for the stock tuners requiring no modifications to the guitar. They are much tighter and hold tune better than the stock tuners.
