I'm sure it works, haven't tested it yet but it came in a little baggy instead of the advertised hard plastic case, looks like it's been tested or used as the gasket had a rough spot and the metal is a bit scratched.

The description did not specify if it was a swirl or non-swirl,, did not find out until the package was delivered. I needed a non-swirl therefore I sent it back,,

This is a wonderful torch head I can actually braise three-quarter " and in a pinch seven eights inch soft copper with it but of course it works really well with small stuff I have even done intricate work.
