It bolts on easily and works as it should same as the OEM part would. Requires adjustment of the rod length once installed to get the correct voltage etc (buy a votage meter to test), Easy enough to install for the untrained mechanic if they take the time to watch some YouTube videos. Saved me $700 over what a dealership service would have charged to install! Takes ten minutes to install with easy adjustments.

Removed my old actuator due to grinding noises while moving it left to right manually. The new one feels very smooth when you gently move it by hand. Replacing the old one via a YouTube video was pretty easy. Took 30mins to replace. You will really need a good OdbII reader that has the ability to pull wastegate voltage. Reading voltage from the yellow wire of the actuator harness is not accurate. Setting the voltage took a bit of time like another 45mins. But my car runs so much better now. Only took it for a 20mins drive so far. The boost and turbo is back and feels like a brand new car. I have some 4hr road trips coming up. Will see how reliable and well built it is. 5 stars for now. I will report back in a few months to see if it’s still working well. If you move your actuator gently to the left and then back to the right and it feels like it’s grinding the internal gears then it’s bad and needs replaced.
