For typical use, we recommend that you change the ear tips every 90 days to maintain optimal hygiene and performance. Wax build up is not uncommon and may cause blockage in the ear tips resulting in diminished sound.
Also, the longer the ear tips are worn and used, the dirtier they get. Keep in mind that the foam material itself will last a very long time, but studies have found that under typical use conditions, the best way to maintain best performance and cleanliness is to change out the ear tips every 90 days.

I bought this box of replacement foam awhile ago. If you have a small, 4 oz, 'Snapware' container, put some dish soap in the container, add about 2 oz warm water, the old dirty foams, snap on the lid and shake vigorously for about 15 minutes or so. Rinse, and they get pretty clean, almost like new if they're not too dirty from the get go. I rotate clean and dirty ones every few months. Only purchased this box of replaceable foam once, $20.00 is awful expensive for itty bitty foam covers, now I just wash and rotate.

original replacement for the EARS sound bar ears. we love the sound bar and head phones.but thing these are over priced since they are from the EARS company. can buy same thing for a lot less with other companies.
