Does not fit an FX-9. The tab doesn't have rounded corners (should look like an oval) and won't fit flush to a freedom ordinance FX-9. No way of knowing that before buying.

QD sling mount, replaces your rear plate, quite difficult to get installed, but once you manage to get it twisted into place, it installs solidly and is a great ambi QD sling mount.

I only wish I would have known about.The sooner very awesome and engineered product.Although you need like 4 hands and arms to put the gas tube on and all that's involved.But once it's on there.Very nice very nice.

If you already have a sling with a QD mount on it, make sure you use the QD mount that comes with this plate. Regular QD sling ends will fit into this, but won't quite lock, causing your rifle to fall off into the mud barrel first. Ask me how I know haha.
