New At4X had rock guards on vehicle. My wife had issues getting in with the 3” lift, so we switched to these running boards that worked perfect while maintains High ground clearance. Installation was an easy and quick using same minting holes as rock guards that were removed. Quality is excellent. I couldn’t wait for GMC back ordered steps for rock guards, But these actually look and work great in normal off road conditions and trails. My wife feels a lot better getting in and out of this 3+” factory lifted truck. Giving it 5 stars was easy. Very pleased with product and safe shipping.

Update 03.10.2023 - Tyger customer service has shipped me brand new Stainless Steel running boards to replace these running boards that rusted out after a year. They were very responsive and professional. I cannot wait to get the new boards installed. I have purchased other Tyger products and they are great. Must have gotten the lemon of the bunch, thank you Tyger customer service! These running boards are nice and sturdy, but within one year completely rusted and look like crap on my new truck. I purchased Tyger bed cover and it's great, but the running boards are garbage.Originally I gave these boards a 5 star because they looked really nice and were affordable with easy installation. Didn't know they would rust so quickly. This is my first response to this situation, so I will see if Tyger customer support will honor any type of exchange or replacement, just hate to have to tear them off and replace, but will if there's a better product available. Thanks

Shipping was quick, product was easy to install and instructions are very clear! However, be careful with the body-clips and plastic screws.. they strip out pretty easily!! The fasteners for the step to bracket can be tightened quite tight. I stripped out (not cross threaded) two of the bracket to body clips ! and one plastic screw. Love them otherwise!! Would recommend to friends!Purchase #2 My original review was for my 2019 Colorado. This review was for my new 2022 Colorado. I love the Tyger rails so much I bought a new set for my new truck and, AGAIN, I could not be more pleased. I did strip out one clip by over tightening.. But the Rails look fantastic and I think I am now a loyal customer! Being that this was my second install, This one only took about an hour!! Easy to install, great documentation and the product is superb!!2025... My third purchase. Packaged perfectly! Directions easy to follow ( but, repetition helps too) I found that I installed my previous rails on other trucks wrong. I always put the long end to the rear.. for bed access.. BUt I like it this other way too! The one thing with these is water collects in them.. When you stop or take an incline you can often hear a waterfall nearby.. LOL! I think I will pop a drain hole this time.. We shall see.. Stand by for install #4.. in two - three years..! Oh.. and manufacturer.. It would be easier to install the brackets on the rails first. Then have the first and last bracket hook or slide on, before a full tightening.. I usually jump up and down and step side to side along the rails before final tightening.. But I'm 6'3 265lbs..... Dunno.. maybe just me.. BUY THESE! they are awesome!

Plenty of positive reviews on this item, and I concur. This is the second set of Nerf Bars I have purchased from Amazon for a total savings of close to $1000 over manufacture bars. As others have mentioned easy to install with minor tool or mechanical knowledge, look great, sturdy and slip resistant. Plenty of finished pics already uploaded so I included a generic pic of the C-Clips you will receive which is how the brackets mount to the truck with brief installation tips below...Under the truck on the chassis side rail you will notice several black plastic caps covering holes. Working from front to back you will remove the first, second and fourth sets of 4 caps, leaving the third position capped as those holes are not used. You now have 4 open holes at each bracket position. The C-Clip slides onto one hole with the female receptacle now seated over the second. You will use 2 C-Clips at each station which provides the anchor point for the mounting bolts. This all becomes self explanatory once you get under the truck and visually inspect. Mount all 6 brackets loosely at first. Next, the kit includes plastic fascia pieces which will cover the visible portion of the brackets when viewing from beside truck; affix using the provided plastic plugs and screws. Then mount the nerf bars on the brackets, sliding and positioning as needed and leaving them loose until all are installed. 'TYGER' should be readable on the skid steps as you face the vehicle; if it's upside down you have the wrong bar. Once each bar is completely secured with loose bolts you will be able to slide it towards or away from the truck about an inch or so. Find your desired location and have somebody hold in place while you tighten all the bolts. Repeat on other side. Finally go back under truck and tighten bracket mount bolts. You are done in under an hour. Two people makes it easier, but can be done by yourself in a pinch. Use blue Loctite (not included) on all bolts as there will be significant vibration during the life of the brackets and bars.
