Warm Tips
- Confirm the voltage (12VDC) and differentiate positive anode and cathode of the power supply.
- About the wiring between the reader and the controller, the wire should be 22 AWG at least and the length should not exceed 100 meters.
- When external power is used, suggest to use same power GND with controller panel. It is recommended to use multi-strand twisted pair cable to connect card reader to access controller.
- Please don't wire the LED and BEEP wires if ther is no need to prompt light and buzzer feedback.

Wiegand Format
- The standard 26-bit Wiegand format is an open format; it is a widely-used industry standard. Almost all access control systems accept the standard 26-bit format which consists of 2 parity bits, 8-bit facility code, and 16-bit card number fields. The Wiegand interface is commonly used to connect a card swipe mechanism to the rest of an access control system.

Introduction
- The RFID card reader can't work-alone and it needs to work with Wiegand protocol access controller, such as access control panel or master controller.
