First off, I thought the jacket looks really cool. I planned ahead and ordered it earlier enough for my event, it came in a few days before the event. A couple days before, I'm preparing for the event, I put the vest on and UGHHHH, that's where the the disappointment came in. It was too tight around the chest and shoulders. I'm borderline on the chart so I went one size up and it still came in a little smaller than I would have liked. The jacket is nice, so 2 stars... I tried to order another next size up jacket and it wouldn't have made it on time.

Great jacket! Comfortable fit and a nice fabric. Steam iron took the shipping wrinkles out pretty easily. I normally wear a 46 short, only because the sleeves of a regular are a tad too short for my arms. This one falls right between a short and a regular on the sleeve length. I got a lot of compliments at my wife's company Christmas party with this jacket. This is one I'll keep in the closet and wear every year. Unlike some of the cheaper alternatives that are good for maybe one time, then tossing it.

I was very skeptical ordering a plaid jacket on Amazon for my holiday work party. Once it arrived it fit perfect and the jacket was better quality than some of my $200+ past in store purchases. This jacket also won the best dressed award and received a ton of comments from colleagues. I’ll be buying more

I bought this jacket and tie for a company Christmas party. I ordered it at least 3 weeks prior to the party and it wasn't delivered until about 4 days before the event. Shipping/delivery is not the issue I have. As my title states, the size chart is completely off base. My chest measures 51". According to the size chart, a 2XL accommodates a 54" chest. When I tried the jacket on, it was a good 8" short on buttoning and pretty snug across my shoulders. Then there's the tie. While the length of the jacket and the sleeves were good the tie was, apparently, for a six-year old. I tied the tie using a classic windsor knot leaving just enough of the back tail to grab between my fingertips. I never even tried to snug the tie because the tip was at least 4" above my belly button. I ended up trying to fashion a "clip-on" to give the correct length. You might be able to figure out the correct size for the jacket, but I seriously doubt the tie length will be the proper proportion to the jacket size. Therefore I think a 3-star rating is being generous.
