Had them about a year. Get comments that they are a nice hiking shoe. Comfortable. Waterproof. A little high priced.

These are very comfortable and look nice. Not sure if they are waterproof - I haven't worn them in the rain yet. These shoes are sturdy and look like they should be more expensive than they were - such a great value!

I like the fit and the support from these boots. But after 1 month of use, one of the shoe lace outter layer unraveled. I needed to buy new laces. These boots are Not waterproof, my feet were soaked while traveling in early March. This was my main purpose for purchasing these boots and they failed.

I bought these at the last minute before a trip to Germany. I needed a lightweight, waterproof hiking shoe that would get me through nine days of dirt trails, wet gorges, and cobblestone streets. They were perfect! Took not time at all to break in and lasted comfortably through 60+ km of walking. Great traction on a steep uphill hike, and stayed completely dry on the inside after my foot sunk into a puddle. I did add gel inserts to the heels for extra comfort.

Wife review: I purchased these for a trip to Scotland which is known to be very rainy. I liked the style and the width. The grip was also good as we hiked/walked about 5 miles per day. While they kept my feet dry while walking in the rain, I found there was really no arch support or cushion. I suppose that could have been rectified by purchasing some arch supports and putting them in the shoes, but I think it's something the company needs to address.Based on reviews and the fact that I would be wearing thick wool socks with them I bought a half size larger. This was a mistake, that half size really looked and felt more like a full size larger. I typically wear a size 6, so I ordered the 6.5 and even with the thick socks, it was obvious these were way too long. With a few modifications, these could be really good shoes. I would still recommend them, but don't go larger, and if you're wearing regular socks, you may want to go a half size smaller.

No "break-in" time needed. These were comfortable from day one. Good water resistance. The only issue I had was going downhill while hiking--my foot slipped forward into the toe, which would be a problem if I hiked a lot. The show is sturdy and fairly lightweight.

These hiking shoes are great! I work in a garden center and these are super comfortable and lightweight. I stand, walk, bend, stoop and everything else in these for 9hrs a day. Now while they are water resistant, they are not waterproof. Most water that splashed on my foot from watering tables would dry up or bounce right off; when being constantly splashed or dripped on, or if I was walking in the half inch of water too long, the boots would actually soak through to my sock and had to let them dry for a day and a half. Other than that, I suggest wearing thick socks because the sizing is spot on but they are a little wider than expected. To add, I've been wearing these for about a month and had no wear and tear issues.
