Great clip! Only this is the pinching clamp hinge has a sharp edge to it that kinda digs when sitting. All in all great low profile universal clip.

Had one of these on a custom holster from Poor Henry Designs (great holster maker BTW) and after 4 years of daily heavy use covert duty carry it eventually broke but the quality and function was good enough to justify replacing the clip with exact ulticlip. When I got a new holster from alien gear for G48, I was happy with the holster overall but found the belt clip just ok and not as user friendly. Decided to replace the oem belt clip with this one that served me well. Clip holds very tightly but is easy to engage and disengage on purpose but will not come loose easily by accident.Very good buy. On a side note, visited this vendor at shot show and had a great interaction.

The security and carry ability of this clip is amazing. You can put this clip on your belt knife, and clip it straight to your yoga pants or shorts. It will not come off from where it is clipped until you remove it, and it does not damage your clothes. The comfort is very good. It's very easy to attach to the kydex sheath with screws and rubber washers, and it fits perfectly, allowing secure connection anywhere. It is also a great value for the money. When I get a handgun, I'll get another one of these. It's more secure than anything else I've seen.

It was easy to install and it holds onto my pants firmly. It's easy to take off at the end of the day. After putting it on my holster, I've never had to mess with it again.

In a nutshell: The Ulticlip 3 works exactly as advertised. It clamps down on my pants hard enough that I am confident the holster won’t come out on a draw. I have practiced my draw stroke many times and the Ulticlip 3 hasn’t come close to slipping or getting loose. I knocked down one star because there is one design feature which I believe should be improved upon — the edges at either side along the top, where the clasp hinges, are a bit sharp and uncomfortable to rub up against. In addition to being uncomfortable, I believe this design feature is unsightly. I’m not sure what the solution is, but a cleaner, smoother design would make this an even more covert solution. That said, it’s a really great product that works as advertised. If you have a holster that can take this kind of clip, I suggest you buy it. I believe this product is worth more than what you pay for.---More detailed review:I installed the Ulticlip 3 on my new T.Rex Arms Raptor holster for my Sig P226, which I carry in the appendix position. I clipped it to my jeans, as it is designed to be used. I found two problems with this, however.#1: After a stretch of time standing or walking, I found that my pants would sag down, even when I clipped the holster close to a belt loop. I don’t think this would be a problem with a smaller gun designed for concealed carry. If you carry a Ruger LCP or LCR, a Glock 26/27/33/36/42, etc., there’s a good chance clipping it to your pants with this product will be just fine. However, if you’re carrying a full size pistol like the P226, I don’t see how clipping it to your pants is going to work.I got around this today by clipping it to my belt (a , which is a rock solid choice for everyday carry) and my holster is extremely stable. I am very satisfied with this setup, even though it’s no longer hidden behind the belt. I don’t tuck my shirts in very often anyway, so it’s almost a moot point. Please be aware that clipping this product to your belt will likely bend bend it in such a way that it will no longer clamp down on your pants. I’m OK with this because I don’t expect to go back to clamping this on my pants. I’m using this product in a way it’s not intended, and I’m OK with that.I’m not deducting a star for the pants sagging problem, as I genuinely don’t think this is an issue with the product. Rather, it’s an issue with how I’m using this product. I can’t expect my pants not to sag under the weight of a full size pistol.#2: The Ulticlip 3 is designed in such a way that the top edges can scrape you during a draw. After installing the Ulticlip on my Raptor holster, my middle finger knuckle bumps against the top of this clip on every draw stroke. After a few dry fire drawing exercises at home, it becomes painful. The clip is by no means in the way; there’s plenty of clearance for a positive grip on the gun. My knuckle just slightly grazes/bumps into the top edge of this thing and I feel like it would be a non-issue if the top didn’t have sharp, thin edges to it. I could install the clip so that is sits lower on the holster (adding clearance between the gun and the clip), but that would mean the gun sits even higher above my waistline, and that will affect how well I can conceal the firearm.Additionally, in my opinion, the mechanical appearance of the hinges draw attention to them. I wouldn’t say it’s a huge tell by any means, but it would certainly be even less noticeable if the top area of the product was more like a smooth hood that covered the hinges. I can’t say I know how I would implement such a design feature, but I do know it would make this product damn near imperceptible. For this issue, I am knocking down one star, as I believe it is a design flaw that can be improved upon.---Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this product to anybody looking for a solid alternative to the myriad plastic holster clips in the market. Despite the caveats above, I believe this clip will meet most people’s needs, especially if they’re carrying a smaller firearm.
