Screw tie-downs are a dime a dozen. However these have several pluses from my point of view.1. Made in USA2. Lightweight, but sturdy.3. The included tube makes them easily screwed in, but certainly not required. Will further update if required.

Yeah, these things are AMAZING for sand anchoring. No complaints at all. Way more durable and effective than other brands as well. Deep threading, strong, and easy to use with their T-handle thing. Don't throw that away! Very expensive, but the others are actual junk, so I guess they're worth it!

We used it for our blowup christmas decorations and for emergency. It is very strong and easy to use. Love the length and do proper weight.

I do a lot of vendor shows in windy cities and needed something to hold our tent down. I wasn’t sure whether to get this size or the larger pegs, but these ones certainly do the job! I actually can’t really imagine needing the large ones for anything at all as these do such a good job! Easy to install and easy to remove, and they don’t leave huge gaping holes in the ground either.

I bought these because regular flat ones would just pull out of the sand at the beach when setting up my shelter. These were rock solid, I had to unscrew them to get them out.

These pegs have secured my tent in sand and strong winds. Wish the also made it in a thinner size. Bought two sets.

I ordered these to anchor a tree I planted as my Prairie winds have a tendency to make them lean before they get solid and established. I’ve since ordered another set. I’ve used them for anchoring my purple Martin pole when setting in concrete and to set up the guides for a overhead canopy at an art fair. Easy to use and hook up bungees or tie lines… lightweight and pack easily without taking up too much space, orange and easy to see. A very useful item!

I bought these because I have a metal arbor that keeps falling over in high winds. It has stakes but they are straight and loosen easily in the soil. I screwed these in the ground, close to one of the vertical arbor posts, and attached them with a zip tie. I didn't do a great job leveling the arbor against the ground but so far, in spite of the subsequent high winds the arbor has remained upright. My neighbor is getting a set for her arbor that keeps blowing down. These are very helpful and easy to screw in the ground.

The Orange Screw arrived today and I put it right to work on the kids swing set. I have used a lot of stakes in my time, but never seen one that works perfectly right out of the box so to speak. It screwed the first one into the ground (mine has a lot of rocks and roots) with no problem. The second stake was in about half way when I felt it hit either a rock or root, and with another turn it proceeded to go right past whatever it was, and on into the ground. I then tied a rope to it and did my best to make it come up some or even out of the ground. It didn't even budge, and these are listed as small (8" shaft. the large ones have a 10" shaft) and worked like a auger! I am really impressed and I don't say that lightly.I'm buying several more to take camping for awning tie downs and cabin tent stakes. I honestly believe, anyone who buys these stakes is truly going to be impressed the way I was. Not to mention it's a family owned business and 100% made in America and lifetime guaranteed! Hats off to you guys, GREAT product!

Good quality.I mainly bought these to use at the beach. Unless you dig really deep down, they are pretty much useless, you can just pull them up with your hands. But these are probably good for soil.

So, I bought these for a camping trip to the beach, based on some reviews online and from here. I have to admit I was abit skeptical since the packaging doesn't say it will work in sand. The short answer is: Yes they will work in sand, as long as you remove the top layer of loose sand and get down to where it's more compact. The plastic tube/handle works quite well, though if you do get any sand on the tube and then use it to turn the spikes in, the tube will get scratched up when you remove it from the sand stake. As for how well they held up, I used these on a Coleman 8 person tent and they held up even in high winds. The last day I was at the beach, we had a wind storm move through with winds pushing past 30 mph. The tent itself didn't hold up too well due to its size but it didn't budge from where it was staked in. Definitely worth the investment. What I would suggest for anyone considering these is go with the large ones for the main stake points and then these little ones for the supports/rain flys (if you have them).

I used these this weekend on a typical campground in Ocala to secure my RV's awning. The screw grabbed the ground and screwed in perfectly, like buttah. I could tell it was a nice and secure hold. My only observation is that there was just a bit of give on the head when I put some pull pressure by hand. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing, this thing certainly looked like it could take some force... but I don't know if I would call these "indestructible" either, which is a tall claim almost no brand should ever make. It's hard plastic at the end of the day, so it will have shatter limits. What those are are yet to be seen. Unlike other screw-type anchors that I've seen out there... the design of these, that is to say, the way the screw is designed feels like it is the better design than some of the other wider screw types. Like a wine cork-screw, this thing really dug in quickly and strongly. I will keep testing on other surfaces, but so far, I really like it.
