  • Standard full-band mounts on most .22 tube diameters .430 - .445 in rifles except Winchester 94/22M US.
  • Standard Full Band mounts on most .22 tube diameters and .430-.445" rifles except W-Inchter 94/22M. U.S.
  • Wood screw base for buttstock
  • Swivel Lock spring-loaded plunger and a knurled, threaded sleeve eliminates accidental opening of the swivel

Choose Uncle Mike's or risk a muzzle in the mud. We construct our swivels to be as strong and reliable as they come. With features the competition has been trying unsuccessfully to top since the days of Truman, when we pioneered the modern swivel. Pardon us for talking dirt about the other guys, but you could do a whole lot worse than Uncle Mike's.

I installed this on my Henry .22 cal with a 20 inch barrel. The instructions were detailed on how to properly screw the post into the buttstock, but they were limited when it came to mounting on the magazine tube. You will need to get instructions for your rifle specifically to find out how to remove the magazine tube, slide on the sling mount, and put the magazine tube back. If you don't mind doing a little light gunsmithing, I think this is a great option for you. If that sort of task isn't your cup of tea, I would suggest finding a sling that doesn't require removing the magazine tube, as this does.

It used to work for Henry H001 by removing site ( with attached tube band ) now the new H001 doesn't have that. The 2 pieces are independent, you could disassemble the whole rifle and remove the tube bit you're better off getting the other set

This set of sling mounts fits perfectly and looks like they were made for my Henry .22 lever action rifle. Having said that, the instructions, wile fine for mounting the sling mount on the stock, were not applicable to my rifle. In my case, removing the ammo tube was impractical without total disassembly of the action. Fortunately, the front sight is very easy to remove and this allowed me simply slide the front sling mount in place just ahead of the fore-grip. I would strongly suggest mounting the stock in a suitably-padded bench vise (I just used a towel in my vice) and carefully finding the center-line of the bottom of your stock. I would also suggest using an awl and pinch to mark where you want to drill, so that the drill bit doesn't wander all over, creating a mess of things. It is advisable to make sure that your drill bits are sharp so that they will cut with less pressure and will not burn the wood. Lastly, I would use a bit of candle wax on the threads of the retaining screw for the stock-end mount, so that the screw doesn't grab on insertion. This will also protect the now open grain (unfinished) hole you just drilled in the stock from moisture and oil.

The best sling hardware on the market for tube-fed rifles – PERIOD. First, I’d like to debunk some of these negative comments; I’ve noticed a few about the set screw for the front mount stripping out. It is quite small and not designed to be torqued down 100 Ft lbs, listen guys, we aren’t replacing the head on a Ford Maverick alright? Use a little finesse would ya? Secondly, it will strip if you cross thread it - duh, so all the reviews regarding this issue, those fellas might not have a lot of mechanical skills ya know, nothing personal. Ok, how about the review regarding the front mount sliding on the tube – I get that, I know how this happens – because you fail to read the directions and fail to use the provided shim (black strip of plastic). When I opened my box I pretty much threw everything but the contents in the trash – I’ve done 1,000 slings in my day and like a man, pshhh directions forget that – soon did I realize when my front mount would slide I was digging through the trash – yup sure enough the directions articulate that mag tubes below a certain diameter will require the shim, which I found stuck to a bacon package – I digress, read the directions and use all appropriate parts and you’ll be OK. A proprietor should not get negative comments because they have stupid patrons, again, nothing personal. So the quality construction of the mount is pretty good and if done properly you’ll be very satisfied with the new addition. Now, for level of difficulty, I’m not gonna play tough guy and say it was a walk in the park, some tube fed rifles / shotguns have screw-brace to remove the tube, others require some pin-work. I ran ranges and did some minor firing-line armorer work in the Army, so I know my way around some smithing – I put this sling mount on a .22 Marlin Model 60, which alone isnt the most forgiving rifle to fully disassemble, and the mag tube comes off by pushing the pin through the brace between the barrel and mag tube – is a small puppy so I have a bag of old dull sewing machine needles from my wife – I just snap the need in half to get a flat surface gently tap it through – it works pretty good and the needles will break before you do any damage to your rifle – im tellin’ ya is a good idea to tell your wife, mom, grammie to save her old machine needles for smithing work. You’ll thank me later. Long comment short, my .02 is that this is quality hardware, properly installed, using the shim if need be, you’ll be 100% satisfied with the product – and for all you too proud to follow directions or guys who simply cannot install a screw without cross threading it, well there is no hope for you at this point and you probably shouldn’t own a firearm anyhow. Fyi, my daughter is 4 and knows not to cross thread, but then again she’s got a nasty prone shooting position and can drop a squirrel 50 yards with her eyes shut, eating a PPJ, and watching cartoons all at the same time. Toodles!

I got this for my Henry Lever Action .22. Not having any reviews, i was initially uneasy about ordering it, but im very glad i did now. The magazine clamp fit on my tube magazine after a little widening (required to install on most guns)with a flathead screwdriver; be sure to be gentle during this step, as many people have broken rings by adjusting too forcefully. Installation of all components was very straightforward, and well covered in the included instructions. While i wouldn't exactly call it "quick", using the sling mounts is very easy and the feel of all the components inspire confidence for use on my little rifle. For those of you wondering, the black rectangle pictured in the product image is a small piece of plastic you can use to shim the mount if your tube magazine is slightly too small. If you have a Henry like me, i would advise you to not follow the instructions telling you to unseat the magazine at the rear for installation. Removing the front sight is much easier and still allows you to slide the ring mount down the mag tube, just be careful that the ring is widened enough that it will not scratch the tube on the way down.Overall excellent product, good finish, and if you are even slightly mechanically inclined (as all gun owners should be) installation takes 5 minutes with a screwdriver, a drill, and 2 bits.EDIT:Three years have passed since I purchased this mounting kit so I figured it time for an update. The components are still working well as they were intended to be used, notice the qualifier of intended use. I went through a period of modifying some aspects of my rifle, and was fairly frequently removing and remounting the front tube ring. Over time after widening and closing so many times it sheared and broke in two. Disappointing but entirely the fault of my actions. The swivel eyelet was still functional so i ended up bedding it into the walnut forearm of my rifle and still use it to this day. The rear swivel has given zero trouble since installation.I still recommend this as a 5 star product, but users should know that removing the front tube ring frequently can result in metal fatigue and failure.
